In the Victorian language of flowers, hellebore represented delirium. It has a highly poisonous nature and is known to represent anxiety, stress, and scandal. It represents impulsive behavior and is suspected as the cause of death for Alexander the Great. Despite it's toxicity, it was used to treat illnesses by the Greek and Romans. More specifically, insanity.

Ivy Coleman's Point of View
I'm simply sitting in my bed as I finish some science homework. God this is stupid. Only if I wasn't an absolute dumbass who actually cared about their life and their grades and attended school and didn't mess up their entire life cause of some form of self-hatred I guess. Jesus, I hate everything. My life is supposed to be perfect. I'm living millions of peoples dream. All of her insane fans would sell their soul to the devil to be in my position and yet, I feel like I'm wasting it and just completely indifferent about it.

"Okay, thank you Ms. Ridge." I'm talking over Zoom with my science teacher as well. I meet with my teachers all the time because I have no idea what I'm doing all the time.

"Does that help you? I know chemical equations can be tricky for some students."

"I think I got it. I'll have need to remember the difference between combustion, single-replacement, double-replacement, combination, and uh..." I for the life of me can't remember the last one. There's five right?"

"Decomposition." She say's finishing the sentence for me.

"Right."

"I see you have turned in all your assignments for this week so just submit your chemical equations worksheet and you'll be done. We will have a quiz on this next week but all quizzes are open note."

"How are you supposed to know if I cheat or not?"

"If you get caught, you fail the class. End of the day, I still get paid."

The two of us laugh due to her brutal honesty. "Don't tell the others, but you're my favorite teacher."

A grin appears on her face. "Aw thank you! Your secret is safe with me. I gotta go now, have a great day Ivy."

"Thank you. You too." I leave the Zoom meeting and quickly finish up my assignment then turn it in. I look through my assignments and see that all are turned in. Well, I guess my weekend is now free...at 1pm. I look over to the side of my bed to make sure everything is stable and peaceful. I take a look around. No noises, no disturbances. Okay, everything is calm. Now is the time I pass out for as long as I can.

I wipe my eyes as I leave my bedroom. It's 6:30 and man do I have zero sleeping schedules. I pretend to have one but it doesn't exist. Time is an illusion.

"I feel like I haven't seen you all day. Finish your work?" Taylor asks me as she's preparing dinner. She puts some sort of dish in the oven and turns on the timer. She's this huge pop star so sometimes it's weird when I see her doing normal people things I guess.

"Uh, yeah." My energy is depleted.

"By the way, I finally got you moved over to my phone plan. You'll need to get a new phone. What would you like?" A new phone? Hell yeah!

"I mean, I'm fine with anything but I'd prefer an iPhone. I've never had one before and everyone else uses them. Could I get blue?" Keep your chill Ivy. You're just getting a new phone, no big deal.

"I have the iPhone 13. How about I get you the same in blue? I'll get you screen protector and you can pick out a phone case as well."

"I also got you a credit card that's linked to my account to use for emergencies. I get notifications for any transactions made on it so I'll know if you use it for something else."
