"You need me to do what!? She squeaked out.

"Just do it."

"But I-I don't know how." She sputtered out as he yanked the bag from her hands and threw it into the car.

"You don't know how to drive!?" He asked irritated

"NO! My parents never taught me."

"Why not, you're old enough aren't ya?"

"Yes, but my parents are pretty strict." Stone sighed angrily and rubbed the back of his neck.

"If only they knew." He whispered, but loud enough for her to hear.

"What does that mean?"

"It means now's a good time to start. Get in." She did and he got into the passenger side.

"What do I do?" She said as she breathed heavily.

"I'll help you. First we have to put the keys in the ignition like this." He put them in and turned the key. The engine in the black colored Escalade rolled over.

"I can't see over the steering wheel." She said as she moved her head back and forth.

"Just try your best."

"If I can't see, I'll kill us."

"No you won't. Now put your foot on the brake and push down. It's the second one towards the left." She did so and Stone pulled back a giant knob in the middle of the seats, it lit up the letter R.

"What's that?"

It's called a gear shift. It tells you if you're in park, reverse or drive. I'm putting it in the R slot for reverse."

"Now what?"

"Open the garage door."

"Are they going to be right there?"

"They could be. But just do what I tell you."

Ok." She said shakily. She reached for the box with the button and pushed it. With anticipation she watched the door go up.

"Now, slowly release the brake but not all the way." Taylor nodded and did so. The car began to go backwards.

Ah." She said, gripping the wheel.

"It's alright, now push the brake again." Taylor did so and they jerked to a stop.

"Sorry." Stone looked out the rearview mirror.

"I think we're good, let's go." Taylor again took her foot off the brake and they rolled all the way out. She stopped the car

"What are you doing?"

"I have to put the garage down."

"No you don't."

"Yes I do. My parents hate-"

"Okay. okay. I'll do it. You get us to the end of the driveway." Taylor continued to roll backwards nearing the end, she hit the breaks, smoother this time.

"Now what?" Stone turned and looked around,

"Now you have to crank your wheel all the way to the right."

"Right now?"

"Slowly. Over time."

"What happened to your face?" She stopped moving as she asked, looking at the gash on his temple. Stone touched it and came away with blood.

"It's nothing."

"It is something. Do you need to get it looked at.?" Stone rolled his eyes.

"No. I don't Stop with the questions."

"Well I'm sorry. But this is all very creepy to me. And you're scaring me."

"You'll get answers in due time."

"I better."

"Now, I need you to back up." Taylor did so with direction from Stone and soon they were crookedly out into the street. Stone moved the car from reverse to drive. As she pulled forward loud pinging noises hit the side of the car rapidly.

"What's happening?"

"They're shooting."

"Why are they shooting!?"

"Because you have something of theirs"

"Well let's give it back."

"You are not giving me back. Now Go go go!" Stone shouted as he pulled a gun from his pants. He cocked it and rolled down the window

"Oh my god I'm going to die." She shouted as she pushed down on the gas. Bullets continued to hit the car and Stone fired off a few rounds. Watching through the rear view mirror she saw a few men go down. Approaching the end of the street she cranked the car wildly to the left with screeching tires. Stone closed the window panting

"When you get up to the light, go straight through then turn to the right."

"I don't know what I'm doing."

"Just don't stop."

"What!? I'm going to hit cars!" She screeched as she neared the light, watching it go from yellow to red.

"Doesn't matter."

""What do I do now?"

"Just go!"

"But the cars."

"I'm not asking again. Floor it." Taylor with tears streaming down her face did so as they roared through the light, she heard crashing behind her as she screamed dodging in and out of cars. She turned crazily towards the right but she was so messed up that she swerved too far and they quickly approached the side of the road. In her panic, she forgot to hit the brake. Their ride ended when they hit a cement road block.
