"Cheese and crackers, what are you doing here?" She asked as she stared at Stone, shaking in her shoes.

"Shhh do you have to be so loud?" He asked as he whispered

"Well yeah you scared the socks off of me. What are you doing here?"

"I can't tell you. But I need your help." He looked at her desperately. She sighed

What is it?

"First, you need to go pack a quick bag and then come back."

"Okay. Why?"

"I can't tell you. Just please hurry." He said urgently.

"Okay." Taylor started to go inside.

"Wait! Whatever you do, don't turn on a light."

"Alright already." She rushed into the house and up to her room. She rummaged about and found a small duffle bag. She threw in a shirt and pants and undies and socks, all by feeling them. She threw in a hairbrush, her credit card and cash. Her Ipad and chargers and a notebook as well. Her phone dinged, she glanced at it,

"What time should I come over tomorrow?" It was Bria. She knew that she needed to respond now or Bria would freak out. Quickly she typed out a response

"I don't know. I will have to ask my parents but they went out."

"No worries. I'm just packing and stuff. What are you doing?" Taylor sat on the edge of her bed

"I'm cleaning my room. It's just a little messy but if we're going to be sleeping here, it needs to be cleaned. :D"

"You know I don't care right?"

"I know. But my parents do. :p"

"Parents always care. It's good but also not."

"I suppose. I have to go. Mom's calling me" She said feeling awful about telling a white lie.

"Okay. See you tomorrow night! <3" Glancing once more in her bag, she felt satisfied. Rushing back out into the garage, she saw him outlined by the moon looking out the window in the garage looking out the window in the garage door.

"What took so long?" He hissed

"Sorry. I-I was just double checking things." She said as she put the bag over her shoulder.

"Do you have everything now?"

"I think so."

"Good."

"Why are you in my garage?"

"It's not important right now."

"It is for me. I mean how did you even get in?"

"Please Taylor, I-we don't have time."

"NO! I am not doing anything until you tell me." He sighed

"Fine, fine. I'm being hunted by some people. I took them around the block, dodged them, jimmied open the door to your garage and hid in here."

"Why are they chasing you?"

"I can't tell you."

"So would you have just continued to hide in here without telling us?"

"Probably." He said with a shrug of his shoulders.

"What now?" She asked, glancing down at her feet.

"I need you to get into that car and drive."
