(STONE'S POV)
Stone claimed her last piece for the hundredth time and smiled at her
"I win."
"Gah! I'm never going to get this." She exclaimed in frustration."You will with time. It took me many years to learn this game."
"Can we do something else now?"
"Like what?"
"I don't know. Go outside or something?"
"I don't know if it's a good idea."
"How about if you bring your gun, and we won't go very far. I don't want to be cooped up in here.""It's been one day, Taylor."
"One day, yes. But we've been cooped up in planes, taxi's hotel rooms, hospitals, I want some fresh air." Taylor began to point. Stone sighedAlright alright, we can go. We can go for a quick walk and then come right back here. Got it?"
"Yes captain!" Taylor said with a saulute. Stone smiled at her retreating figure. He went to the closet and pulled out some white snow pants and some boots. He went to her door which was still open,
"You're going to need these." Stone said. She turned and walked to him
"Oh um thank you."
"Yeah." He handed them to her and then went to his bedroom. He put on a thermal black shirt, some jeans and then his snow pants. He put on his big winter coat, the one that Danka had given them and then laced up his boots. He stuffed his gloves into his pocket as well as his hat, then he walked out into the living room to wait for her. While he waited, he wondered when Danka would show up, or even make contact telling him that she was ready to be shot and then come and pretend like something had happened. Thinking about huns, he went to the closet and opened a hidden panel, inside were three huns, a cuple hand grenades and some things to make a bomb. He pulled out a gun and stuck into this pocket into the coat, a hidden pocket inside next to his heart.
"I'm ready!" Came a voice. He quickly shut the panel and slipped out of the closet
"Oh there you are." Taylor tittered. He looked at her all dressed up in snow pants, an oversized coat, a hat and gloves. All her fatness reminded him of a snowman. He began to laugh, she frowned
"I'm sorry, it's just that you look like a snowman."
"Oh and you don't!?"
"I probably do. Come on, I'm ready now.""Okay!" Taylor shouted out the door and a very annoyed Stone followed after her. THer was no sight of her outside, with panic he searched with his eyes for then WAP! Something cold hit him in the face and laughter rang out. He turned and saw Taylor standing a few feet from him, another snowball in her hand
"Oh it's on!"
"LIke donkey kong!"
"What does that mean?"
"I don't know, it's just an expression."
"Oh well, uh yes it's on like donkey kong!" He launched one at her but she dodged it and threw his. He was so in awe of how she missed it that the impact of hers landed him on his back.
"OH MY GOSH ARE YOU OKAY!?" She shouted into his face as she stood over him. He blinked and then smiled
"Yes, yes I"m just fine. With that, he tugged her leg and down she went into the snow.
"Hey!." Taylor said as she began to giggle
"What comes around goes around." Stone said as he rose and lifted her up. They stayed like that for a bit until he cleared his throat and let her go.
"So what are we going to do?"
"Wanna build a snowman!?" He asked with a shrug. Taylor gasped
"You know what that question reminds me of?"
"No, what?" Stone asked as he began to roll a ball.
"It reminds me of the movie Frozen. The girls get separated and then Anna goes and knocks on her sister's door and asks if she wants to build a snowman." Stone scoffed
"Sounds cheesy.""IT's not. It's the cutest movie ever about sisterly love."
"Sisters huh?" Stone questioned as he thought about ehr own very late sister
"Yep! Elsa, that's the one with ice powers, freezes Anna's heart, but by accident, eventually the heart thaws out and all is well. But the main theme was love."
"Fascinating." He said with a grunt as he rolled the big ball of snow to a stop."I should help you shouldn't I?"
"Oh no! Your making your own."
"Really?" She asked with a pout"Yeah, it's called a contest." He said with a childish grin
"Oh alright! I'm going to beat you!" She exclaimed
"We'll see, we'll see." Stone said with a chuckle as he watched her set to work on rolling her first ball. She really was a good companion. Could she truly be the one for him? He thought to himself before saking the thought completely.
"What nonsense." He said to himself as he got back to work.
