It had been days since you and leonard last spoke. It wasn't like he wasn't home but he'd wake up early and go straight to work then return home late,sit read a book without and lay down instantly after,if you'd mention him not eating he'd say he already ate and then go to sleep.

Today was the day you'd actually confront him. You sat on the couch and waited for him to come not bothering to make dinner. Its not like he'd eat it anyway.

Soon you heard shuffling on the door. He was unlocking it.

After a few more struggles he opened the door and walked in putting his case down before looking up to see you causing the boy to nearly have a heart attack.

"AH-..ah. oh hello love didn't expect to see you so soon." he said taking off his coat.

He wasn't wrong usually you'd be in your bedroom then when he comes in you'll run to him and hug him,,but not today. Today you were serious. (bud is not serious)

You stared at him silently with your arms and legs crossed as you kept a blank face.

"No hug today? Is something wrong? Did I forget our anniversary again?- my love im truly sorry work has bee-"

"Sit down we need to talk leonard. About us."

He paused midway of taking his tie off and nodded as a look of worry spread on his face like wildfire. He cleared his throat and sat down.

"Us? What about us?" he said his tone shifting to one of worry and concern.

"I'm not sure if you've noticed but for the past two weeks you've been leaving early without a word and when you return you don't speak to me but instead read a book then go lay down facing the other way from me still." you said,you had a hint of anger in your voice but hurt as well.

He kept silent...

You sighed a bit and dragged a hand down your face "Leo..if..you don't want us to be together ju-"

"WHAT..No no i'd never. I love you more than anything baby..it's just work had been piled up i keep taking up extras shifts so we cam have the wedding you've always dreamed of. Our wedding is coming soon i don't want you to be-.."

Your face quickly changed,you told him your parents had it covered but you didn't know he was so determined to help.

'Oh..leonard baby i told you my family said they had it covered you dont have to over work.."

He gave you an sad expression as he held your hand "I know I know..but i feel so worthless not being able help or at least buy the decor or your dress" he said as you began to notice tears rolling down his face.

You pulled him close quickly and rubbed his back "Baby i  promise its fine. your not worthless,i promise my family wanted to help out. You bought your suit thats all you need"

He pulled away and looked at you with more tears "I know b-"

You suddenly pulled him close and kissed him. He kept his hands near your waist before he grabbed it and gripped it tightly but firmly.

The kiss continued for a few seconds before you both pulled away panting gently,he waste no time to remove his button up shirt then your gown laying you down getting between your legs bringing you into a kiss once again.
