Apologize-Ralph

You watched from a far as you saw Ralph drooling over the jazz woman who randomly appeared days ago.

You had came back from being away to another country since you had very deep family business to be apart of. You had been gone for months but before you left you and Ralph were together and promised never to let you being apart break up your relationship.

But not all promise keep hold,Ralph was singing and proposing to the lady even though she obviously wasn't interested he didn't care.

You made it back a few days ago and even came to the twins birthday party,Victoria had realized but he hadn't batted an eye toward you.

Now here you were,in front of their home door about to knock. You hummed a bit as you knocked softly then harder.

You heard a pitched voice so you knew it was Victoria,listening closing you heard Ralph keep repeating who is it to her.

Victoria knew you were outside the door and she also knew you'd be staying over a few days while your home you left got worked on.

Victoria opened the door seeing you and letting out a squeal as she hugged you,you laughed at her reaction but hugged her back.

She let you loose and moved out of the way,she began walking inside as you walked behind her. She went to the living room where Ralph and the jazz group sat.

She walked in front of them and opened her hand to present you as you walked toward you.

The jazz group gave you a confused look as Ralph's eyed widened.

"This is y/n l/n they're a very good friend of mine! They will be staying over until their house is finished."  She said with a smile.

You walked over and shook everyone's hands even shaking Ralph's as if you didn't know him.

 "Ah,yeah I have to put my bags away ill be right back Victoria!" you said grabbing your bags and walking off. Ralph was still shocked but got up following you.

You began putting your things away as you hummed a song to yourself happily.

"Y/n."

 You heard someone say causing you to just and let out a scream. Once you saw Ralph you let out a deep breath.

"Yes ralph?" 

"Why didn't you tell me you came sooner,I would have loved to take you for dinner and maybe on a walk."

"Oh,I just didn't want to" you lied as you turned around putting your things away once more.

"..You're lying to me aren't you?" He questioned as you shook your head not paying attention "No I'm not." 

Ralph went behind you as he hugged you from behind laying his head on your shoulder "Yes you are,we've been together for three years."

"That was three years down the drain" you said without thinking 

"excuse me?" He said lifting his head before you responded "Hm? Nothing."

"No no,I heard you. How come its three years down the drain?" He asked curious as he let you go backing away. You turned around making contact with him as he spoke once more.

"Do you not love me anymore?" He said.

"What? Do I not love you? What I should be asking is do you not love me! Ralph I've been here for days. I was at your birthday party and you didn't look at me once. Victoria has been telling me for days what you've been doing. You've been dropping over that jazz lady and you've even proposed Ralph!" 

His eyes widened as his eyes watered up,what was HE about to cry for. 

"i-, Im sorry alright! I wasn't sure if you were going to ever come back! You could've been dead,how was I meant to know you were fine if you never sent a letter?"

You opened your mouth but closed it as you thought about it,you never did write him because you were busy with your family. 

You took a deep breath "Alright then. Fair point, I realized the situation I can't sed you were right to move on if you thought I died and I was in the wrong foe blowing up at you." 

Ralph sighed as he looked at you "I suppose I'm in the wrong too,I never tried to write to you firstly. So I apologize." 

"and I apologize as well for being an asshole for a moment." You spoke as he nodded before you turned around putting away your clothes. 

There were minutes of silence before Ralph spoke again "Make up sex?" 

"Get out ralph."

"Yes ma'am/sir/dear." He speed off walking quickly out and going down stairs returning to Victoria.
