Dinner - Billy Knight

You softly placed down two plates onto your dinning room table. It had been a day since your god father strike told you about your old friend billy knight.

According to him Billy was doing better than he was at first.

You talked to Billy over the phone and he did sound better,he sounded happier than usual it made you so happy.

After talking some more you invited him over for dinner which he quickly applied.

So here you were,getting dinner ready for the two of you. You placed down two glasses and poured a beverage of your choice before cleaning the kitchen a bit.

You placed something in the garbage before you heard a soft knock,you quickly said 'coming' before you rushed toward your front door.

You opened the door to see a smiling billy with a basket of sweets and a beverage you enjoyed drinking,you smiled before bringing him into a tight hug that he quickly returned even with the basket in hand.

Billy pulled away as you sat both hands on his cheeks looking at him in amaze.

"Billy! You look so handsome" you exclaimed.

He laughed a but before replying "Thank you,you uh..you look amazing,well better than the last time I seen you. Well not that you didn't look amazing last time."

You laughed at his struggle to say what he meant,you cut him off quickly before allowing him inside. 

Once he came inside he handed you the basket before taking off his coat and hanging it into the closet in your hallway.

You lead him to the dinning room as you two spoke with each other to catch up on everything thats been happening to the two of you recently.

You sat down the basket onto the dinning table before walking to your seat,Billy pulled it out for you before giving you a shy smile. In return you flashed him a smile before he sat down.

After a while of eating you began to notice Billy finish up,he'd flash a questioning look. Once you caught on you stopped eating and looked at him.

"Is something wrong Billy?" You questioned worrying if something made him feel a way.

"Hm? Oh uh.. I was just wondering if i could..Uh get some more food? I'm sorry i know its dumb to be like this but i still get flustered around you"

"Oh sure Billy. yeah i understand,i get quite flustered around you too." You said with a soft laugh before grabbing his plate along with yours putting more food onto the plates.

"Around me?"

"Yes of course Billy."

"How come?"

"huh?"

"How come you feel flustered around me. It's hard to believe,it was even hard to believe you asked me here." 

You gave a joking scoff before looking at him "Is the Billy knight calling me a liar?"

His eyes widened before jumping to defense "No no,thats not the case I was just-"

"I'm kidding Billy. But you are a such a good man."

"I am?"

"Yes. Even when scared you tried to give me a smile even if it was fake,and you are a handsome HANDSOME man. I mean you swooned me away"

You said before the room went silent,you turned to see billy with tears in his eyes before they rolled down his face.

You put the plates down quickly before going to him and hugging him for comfort even if you weren't sure what made him cry.

He held you before beginning to speak up "You are so sweet y/n..i've never had someone care as much as you've cared for me..even when I was going through everything."

You sniffled quietly,now he was about to make you cry while you were comforting him for his crying.

You took a breath before smiling softly. You lifted his head as you did at the door,after staring into his eyes you wiped away his tears making him look at your caringly.

"Thank you Billy." you said,instead of replying he stared a bit more before pulling you to him and kissing him.

After a few seconds of kissing you gave him a surprised expression before it turned into a confused one instead.

"You know how to kiss?" You questioned jokingly but you were serious.

"I did my research." He said causing you both to laugh before kissing once more.
