Let the Fun Begin

Almost two weeks later.

Kim was sitting in his office in his studio when his phone rang. He answered.

Kim: Hello

Kamol: Please tell me you are in your studio.

Kim: Yes, where else would I be. Pa is having me watched like a hawk and Chay avoids me at the university.

Kamol: You know I have Lop watching the Uni and he says Chay seems happy.

Kim: Kamol, I do hope you did not call me to tell me how happy my boyfriend is without me around.

Kamol: Nope, I just wanted to let you know that Ruj got the documents out of the safe deposit box at that bank. It was an interesting read. I sent the original copy to Evan.

Kim: Thanks, I was going to suggest sending it to Evan. So, what does it say?

Kamol: Pretty much that everything belongs to Porsche and Porchay. You, your brother, and cousins all have Trusts set up that have not been touched. I looked into it and Korn has tried to get into your trusts, but he needs Nampheung's signature and one other item. He has not been able to figure out what that item is.

Kim: I bet I know what it is. There are only three in existence.

Kamol: Evan said it was probably the Phoenix Ring. He got his brother's back when he passed. He had another made for me. So, there are four now. You have the one that belonged to Chay's dad on your finger.

Kim: Funny, how Pa has not recognized it yet. Anyway, what else was in there?

Kamol: There were properties divided up between what stayed in the family and what was given to each of his kids. Basically, the houses went to the boys with a stipend. Oh, and what Korn says he owns now, actually belongs to the family with the exception of about 5% of it.

Kim: Have Khom cut his assets to what he is supposed to have.

Kamol: What about the secret organization?

Kim: Let him keep that. Something tells me he already has given them instructions and he created that himself. Plus, I trained with those men, so I know how they operate.

Kamol: I will have Khom take care of it right away. Just be ready for the backlash from your Pa.

Kim: I am ready. I have extra guards at the uni for the boys. Nao included. Just make sure Lop is watching in case something does happen.

Kamol: Lop understands and he has never let me down.

Kim: Thank you. Let me know when the asset reallocation has taken place.

Kamol laughs and tells Kim that he will probably find out from his Pa before he has a chance to let him know. Then he tells Kim bye. Kim just leans back in his chair, looks at Kit, and tells him "The fun is about to begin."

Less than an hour later.

Kim's phone goes off with a text and a call simultaneously. He sees the text is from Kamol and the call is from Kinn. He answers the call.

Kinn: Kim, we need you at the house ASAP.

Kim: Why, what's up?

Kinn: Daniel is taking more of our assets and Pa wants a meeting of everyone.

Kim: I will be there as long as it takes to get from my studio to the mansion.

Kinn: Just do not make him wait. He is really ticked off right now.

Kim hangs up with Kinn and laughs. Of course, he is ticked off. His wealth has been significantly reduced. Of course, the assets were moved into the family assets. Of course, Korn would not see that as he just worries about his assets. Kinn keeps up with the family assets and he doubts Kinn has looked at those since he took over.
