A Hopeful Request

2 weeks later...

Khun has finally talked Vegas into letting him take the boys shopping for what they needed for university. Macau and Chay have been getting along quite nicely and have formed a close friendship. Kim on the other hand cannot stand to see them together and ends up taking it out on poor Anon and Tul during training. Non used to Kim's moods just ignores it but Tul has finally had enough and blows up at Kim. Kim in turns punishes Tul by making him run around the gym until he has run three miles. Of course, the entire time Tul is running Kim is reminding him that there is only going to be him and Non for Chay and Macau and they were in different faculties and would be doing different activities, so he had to be better than the best they had. After running, Tul apologizes and goes with Non to change and get something to drink as they area also going shopping. Non tells Tul not to provoke Kim. Non tells him he has been moody since before the siege and his temper is shorter than usual.

The boys pick out their desks, bed, and nightstands and proceed to the dorm suite. Tul, Anon, Arm & Pol are helping the furniture company unload the items when Khun asks them to pick their rooms. Macau fell in love with the room to the left of the door. Chay decides he wants the middle room. Kim walks in and tells Chay he should take the room to the right.

Chay: Why, I like the middle one.

Kim: The middle room lets in too much light.

Chay: So, I will get dark curtains.

Kim: Chay, just take the one on the right.

Chay: Why do I have to listen to you?

Khun just gives an exasperated sigh as Kim and Chay argue over which room Chay is going to use. He leaves them to argue it out and goes down and tells Arm and Pol just to bring Macau's stuff up for now as Chay could not decide on what room he wanted. Non and Tul get to the room with Macau's bed and here Kim and Chay arguing. Just as they get the bed through the door. Kim yells fine, do what you want. I was just trying to help you. Then he storms out.

Khun comes in and pulls Chay aside to talk to him. "Hey Chay, I am not sure why you can't get along with Kim, but when he used this suite, he used the middle room. He probably does not want anyone else to use it. Though since he is not using it, I do not see why you cannot use it. I will have your stuff arranged in the middle room."

Chay: Khun, I do not want to stay in the same room as Kim. Put my stuff in the other room. The one on the right.

Khun walks out and sighs. Getting these two together is beginning to wear on him. He walks downstairs and lets Arm and Pol know that they can take Chay's stuff now and put it in the room on the right.

Kim walks up to Khun with a bewildered look and asks him how he got Chay to move into that room. Khun just looks at Kim and tells him. "I told him it was the room you used. He changed to the other room immediately. Anyway, what is with you two. You can't seem to get along at all." Kim tells his brother to stay out of it.

Kim walks away and goes back to his studio. Thankful that Chay is not in the room beside Macau's. Yes, that was why he wanted Chay in the other room. He did not want him near Macau. After all, Chay belonged to him.

Chay and Macau got their rooms all arranged with much help from Tul, Non, Arm, & Pol. Khun tried to help, but his ideas were a little out there for the two boys. They all returned back to the mansion. Vegas came to pick up Macau. Kinn walked out at that time and saw Porsche getting out of Vegas's vehicle and glared at Porsche and went back in the house. Porsche walked up and gave his brother a hug and asked him if got everything. Chay, said he just needed a few posters and odds n ends and then whispers into his ear that he would like to visit mom.

Kim showed up as Vegas was leaving. He glared at Porchay. He thought to himself why can be so kind and all smiles with everyone else. He has tried to talk to him many times, but Chay just walks away. He decides to ask his brother for help. He pulls out his phone and texts his brother Kinn. "Hey Kinn come get Porsche, please." Kinn reads the message and decides to comply. His younger brother rarely asks for anything from him. Even though is upset with Porsche, he walks out and pulls Porsche aside and tells him they have business to discuss. Porsche glares at Kinn and ask him if it can wait because he was going to take Chay to see their mom. Kim steps up and says he can take Chay. Kinn eyes his brother like he wants to know what is going on, but instead he pulls Porsche with him and yells at him for being in the same car as Vegas. Chay hears this and starts to walk away as Kinn and Porsche start yelling at each other.

Kim walks up to Chay and tells him he will take him to see his mom. Chay really wants to see his mom as he has a request that he hopes she can fulfill. He has a feeling that she is faking not being there. He knows he will have to be cautious in the asking especially since Kim is the one taking him. He cannot really wait for his Hia since that argument seemed pretty serious. Chay and Kim walk into the room that Namphueng uses. She looks up and is surprised to see Kim. What surprises her even more is the Phoenix ring that is around Kim's finger. She knows that is Evans ring. She would love to ask Kim how he got it, but knows it is not a good idea. She just looks at him and hopes he gets the message that she would like to talk to him. Kim acknowledges the look before sitting down in the corner of the room.

Kim just hangs out in the corner watching Chay as he hugs his mom and tells her about his shopping trip. He left out the argument between him and Kim about the room. After about an hour, he gives her another hug and whispers in her ear. Mom it would be nice if you could draw me a picture of blue butterflies that I could hang in my dorm room as I will not be able to see you very often. Namphueng knows she cannot acknowledge that she heard, so she just hugs Chay as she usually does.

When Chay was leaving, he told Kim it would be nice if he had one of his mom's pictures to hang in his dorm room. Unknown to Chay, Kim took this as he just asked for something, so Kim's mind was working on how he could give this to Chay since his dad controlled everything about Namphueng to the point that he recorded everything that was said in that room. Kim walked Chay back to his room. He went to go in and Chay told him, thank you but he could leave. Kim just walked in anyway.

Kim: Chay, please we need to talk. We cannot keep arguing with each other.

Chay: Why, you made it perfectly clear that you never loved me and only used me. Why, must I be nice to you?

Kim: I told you I made a mistake and was afraid of my own feelings.

Chay: Feelings, you do not have feelings Kim. You have jobs. Your heart is so frozen that Elsa would not even be able to thaw it.

Kim: I do not need Elsa to thaw it, you thawed it. Cannot you see that.

Before Chay could answer, Kim pulled him in real close and kissed him. Chay pushed him back and slapped him hard on the face. Then he went into the bathroom and slammed the door. He also yelled through the door that Kim needed to leave, or he was going to go and stay with Macau at Vegas's house. Kim just sighed and left. Unknown to Kim, Chay was in the bathroom battling his feelings and crying again.
