The rest of the week went on pretty uneventfully. Between classes, I would enjoy our family meal time with Ominis and Sebastian, as well as enjoy a few after class library sessions. Sebastian and I had indeed made the Quidditch team even after the mess of a situation that happened after tryouts. Sebastian, of course, made seeker, and I was the new Slytherin beater.

"I knew you could do it, Maddz, never had a doubt," Sebastian smiled to me after the posting of the team. Imelda came up behind us, slapping me on the back, "I knew you were a shoe in Maddz, but after I saw the way you pummeled Garreth with that bludger, I knew you'd be a Slytherin star in no time."

I laughed nervously, still feeling slightly guilty for how we won the game, but the guilt vanished after remembering how Garreth treated me after he lost. Surprisingly enough, no one on the Gryffindor team told on Sebastian and Ominis for threatening Leander, seems they didn't want to claim him and his beliefs for their own. I was relieved about this considering Sebastian and I already had detention this weekend.

As I entered herbology, the first eye to catch mine was Sebastian of course. His face seemed to light up not realizing we had this class together. However, what caught me off guard was the group of Hufflepuff girls behind him giggling and staring at him. I knew Sebastian was rather handsome, but I had never noticed how other girls noticed him. And I didn't like it. I know he wasn't mine to claim, but he wasn't a piece of meat either. He was just Sebastian, a perfectly freckled, wavy brown haired boy... whoa I had to stop thinking like this.

My train of thought was interrupted by Professor Garlick. She was a beautiful red haired woman who wore her hair in two long braids and wore bright colored clothing decorated with flowers and vines. "Ahh, hello, class, please welcome the newest rose in our garden," she spoke loudly for all the class to hear. I wasn't sure introductions were necessary as I had become quite the talk of the school. I looked towards Sebastian who was beaming at me and ushered for me to sit by him.

"Well if it isn't the newest rose in my garden," Sebastian whispered to me as I sat by him. "Shut up," I giggled nervously. Professor Garlick went on to teach us about mandrakes and their uses. While young, mandrakes looked like little babies made of bark, but man could they scream. Mandrakes were used not only as forms of defense, by using their high pitch screams to throw off enemies, but once they matured, they were often used in various healing potions and cures.

After class, Professor Garlick called me over to come speak with her. "My dear, well done with the mandrakes, now I wish to introduce you to the Chinese Chomping Cabbages, which are also very useful for defense, they're in the other greenhouse, Mr. Weasley as offered to escort you."

Of course he did. I inwardly groaned as I snuck a peak at the Gryffindor who was looking towards me shyly. He gave a soft wave. "I'm sure I can find them on my own Professor," I tried to argue.

"Nonsense, off you go," she told me. Garreth slowly made his way towards me and we headed for the stairs. I took a look back at Sebastian who looked more than annoyed, not at me, bu at the situation. "I'm sorry." I mouthed towards him.

Garreth and I exited the greenhouse, heading for the other one when he spoke. "I told them not to tell you know?" he started.

"I'm sorry?" I replied annoyed.

"Leander and the other Gryffindors, I convinced them not to tell any Professors on Sebastian for punching him, or on Ominis for threatening him," he went on, which pissed me off even more.

"Wow Garreth, I'm so glad you convinced the most vile boy in school not to get Sebastian or Ominis in trouble for defending me and his sister, gosh you are just my hero aren't you," I said sarcastically.
