*I'm officially back!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so sorry it took me so long to get back to writing, but I finally feel like I have my spark back. I feel like I left in a good place and that about half the book was done, so I am ready to breach out into part 2. Not the longest chapter, but I felt like this was a good start back into the journey. Without further ado, thank you so much for your patience, I will be updating as often as I can <3 Maddz

It was now between late night and early morning. Rain trickled down my face as rose blush coated my cheeks as I walked hand in hand with Sebastian, my Sebastian, back to the castle. As we approached the entrance to Hogwarts, Sebastian paused for a moment and turned to me as I shot him a shy smile.

"Forgive me," he said, "I don't really want this night to end, I'm afraid it's all a too perfect dream."

I looked up at his soft face, his hair soaking wet from our stroll in the rain, I reached my hands up, cupping his face and standing on my toes to lean into his velvet soft lips. I wasn't quite sure I tasted anything quite better than the rain on his lips.

As I pulled back, I noticed he too shared in the rosy cheeks, I assured him, "This isn't a dream anymore, I'm here, I'm real, and so are you. We have a long road ahead, that's for sure, but perhaps, together, we can overcome it."

"Promise?" he whispered.

I held out my pinky as Sebastian returned a puzzled look.

"Sebastian Sallow, don't tell me you don't know what a pinky promise is?" I asked surprised.

He chuckled, "What are you getting at Moody?"

I grabbed his hand and linked our pinkies together. "It's more valuable than an unbreakable vow."

"Unbreakable vow?" he laughed. "Now you're speaking my language. Alright then, pinky promise it is."

Our pinkies squeezed tight as I kissed my hand to seal the promise. Sebastian did the same to his hand in return, and we linked hands and headed back inside for the common room.

As we entered the common room as quietly as possible, tiptoeing down the stone steps, we were greeted by the sound of a throat clearing, and there sat on our couch by the fireplace Ominis. Sebastian and I timidly approached our friend and suddenly jumped on the couch, one of us sitting on either side of him.

"Ack, what is it with you two and always coming into the common room soaking wet, this is absurd!" he groaned.

I laughed as I linked my arm through his and Sebastian rested his head on his shoulder. "You know you didn't have to wait up for us mate."

"I know that, I was just, up, well I couldn't sleep," he stumbled on his words.

"It's ok Ominis, you can tell us that you missed us," I teased as I remained arm and arm with him, appreciating his warmth.

Ominis scoffed, "Well did you two finally talk about your differences and figure out you're both mad for each other?"

Sebastian and I both chuckled. "Something like that."

"Thank Merlin," Ominis sighed in relief. "Please spare me the details."

"I think it's time we get grandpa to bed, what do you say Maddz? Sleepover, you know for old time sake?" Sebastian suggested as Ominis shot him a dirty look.

"That sounds perfect, but perhaps a shower first?" I suggested starting to feel the chill of the common room on my rain soaked clothes.

Sebastian and Ominis headed for their room as I headed for the showers.
