Sebastian and I watched as festival goers began to flee the scene, this included the ferris wheel operator. The festival was going up in flames. Many witches and wizards ran while others fought back. Screams filled the air.

"Sebastian, we have to get off of this thing now," I said nervously.

Panic flooded his eyes as we were locked in.

"Sebastian!" I snapped him back to reality.

"I'm sorry, I'm here, ok let's go," he said. "Alohamora." He unlocked the bar holding us in. "Ok Maddz, either we jump, or we attempt to call our brooms.

"Accio broom," I said as I carefully stood up in my seat, looking around me. Nothing came. "Sebastian, I don't know if I can jump." I looked at him, I was terrified.

"Accio broom!" he called, but nothing came. The goblins were nearing our location. "Dammit." Sebastian was practically shaking as we stood atop the ferris wheel.

The ferris wheel shuddered as the goblins began blasting near the base. "Sebastian, the ferris wheel, it's going to collapse, we gotta go." I insisted with a shaky breath.

He looked at me and held out his hand, "Do you trust me?" he was practically yelling over the sounds of screams and blasts.

I took his hand and he pulled me into an embrace, "Always."

We jumped.

As we jumped, the ferris wheel started collapsing. Everyone else that was on it was attempting an escape as well, but we had been on the top.

Time slowed as we fell and for the briefest moment, my eyes found his. His eyes were my refuge from the fall. If I were to die tonight, at least we knew. At least I had the chance to kiss him. At least we had the chance to show each other how we really felt.

But there was still much left unsaid.

"Arresto Momentum!" Sebastian yelled right before we hit the ground, and our bodies floated a foot from the ground until we let gravity do the rest. Sebastian took my face in his hands, "Are you ok?"

I placed my hands over his, "I'm ok Bash, we gotta fight now. We know how to fight them, I'll try to use my magic. Find Anne."

"Please be careful Maddz, I'm begging you," he pleaded as his hands still were placed on my cheeks.

"I will, I promise, now go, find Anne!" I said.

Sebastian desperately pressed his lips against mine and held me there for a moment before letting go. "I'll see you soon." he said as he turned away.

"You will," I promised.

I turned and started blasting spells at the enemies. They were everywhere.

"Protego!" I protected myself from a goblin who lunged at me. "Accio," I levitated three goblins in my direction. "Incendio!" I set them ablaze.

I looked over and saw Imelda being overtaken by two goblins. "Confringo!" I blasted the two goblins off of her.

"Bloody hell, thanks for that," she sighed as I helped her up.

"Imelda, you gotta get out of here," I insisted.

"And back down from a fight, never," she said confidently.

"Fine, but please be careful, stay with me," I insisted.

Imelda and I weaved through the gaming area. Some children had been hiding underneath the tents, Imelda and I began to gather them as we fought off surrounding goblins.

"Is there a safe zone?" Imelda asked desperately.

"I don't know, but we have to get them out of here!" I demanded.
