The Best Bad Luck

Chapter 10

Okay, I know I did that thing again where I don't update for ages. But I have an actual reason this time, my Ipad (what i normally use to write on) screen broke, so i can't use the key bored, but my dad gave me his old laptop to use so I'M BACK! Enough of my first world problems and onwards with the story!

**Summery of last chapter, last paragraph**
Lila came back from a day out with Amber, Jack got upset that they were hanging out and Lila confronted him about it. Jack confessed that him and Amber broke up, and didn't want them hanging out because he was worried that Amber would change Lila's point of view of Jack. Lila managed to convince him that nothing could change how she thought of him, they kissed.

Lila's POV
I bit the inside of my lip, unsure of what to say. "So do you wanna go on a date sometime" Jack awkwardly asks, making me laugh "yeah, I'd like that." We agree to go over it more tomorrow and I head back into my room.

The next morning I woke up at 5:00am. I had a quick shower (and by quick I mean half an hour) to waste time, eventually i plugged in my earplugs and started reading. Someone hugged me from behind and out of instinct I flew my elbow back and into their chest. I heard them yell over my blaring music, yanking out my earplugs I turn around to see Jack clutching his chest in pain and sitting on the floor "uh, oops?" I say, although it comes out as a question "what was that for?" Jack asks, his voice rising near the end, "well you should know better then to scare someone" I laugh and sit next to him on the floor, "are you okay?" I ask "well, I think that my chest is going to be bruised... but I wouldn't mind a second opinion" Jack winks. I roll my eyes and pull the neckline of his lose shirt down a little and see a red mark. I smirk a little before slapping the mark really hard. "Do you like to see me in pain" Jack dramatically asks "yes." I laugh patting his head.

I check the time, 6:00am. "You want breakfast?" I ask making my way to the kitchen "yeah" Jack calls out. I put my earplugs back in and start cooking bacon and egg muffins (cliche I know). By the time I'm done Tom and Daniel have woken up, "you can cook? Can we keep her!" Tom asks Jack like a little kid who's just found a puppy, "Tom, you know I'm not a stray animal yeah?" I laugh.
After breakfast I do the washing up, after I'm finished Jack appears at my side "so I was thinking we could go out, walk around in the park" Jack suggests and I nod "yeah, let me go get changed" I fast walk upstairs and look through my suitcase (which I haven't unpacked) for something pretty, but warm. Eventually I decide on a pair of leggings, a Pink Floyd tee, a flannel jacket, and red converse.

We walk into the small park, "lovely day" I mutter and Jack laughs. I notice a small group of girls looking our way, they were mainly looking at Jack. All of a sudden I feel worried, Jack is a pretty attractive guy and he has a great personality, so why would he waste his time with me when he could have plenty of other attractive girls... I snap out of my thoughts when I feel a hand grab mine, I could tell Jack knew I was worried but not what about. "only think of the next five minutes" Jack says. So I do, I think about how we'll be walking around, not paying attention to those girls, "thank you" I smile pecking his cheek.
