Hazel sent me the script the next day telling me to change whatever I wanted (within reason) and over the next couple of days we began working on it. Her and one of her other friends did casting so she introduced me to her friend Ciaran, who I knew of but had never actually met, so we could discuss the different ways we wanted to film.

Within a couple of weeks we were pretty much finished planning and all we needed to do was start filming. Although, when I showed up for filming on the first day the one person I didn't expect to see was my ex. "Hazel, can I speak to you quickly?" I ask, not waiting for an answer before pulling her away from Harry. "Why is he here?" I question and she looks back at Harry, "he's a background character. Why?" "Because he's my ex!" I exclaim, a little louder than intended. Realisation dawns on Hazel's face and she looks at me apologetically, "oh, oh I'm so sorry... Look I understand it might be a bit uncomfortable and awkward, but it would be such an unnecessary hassle to postpone shooting or having to re-arrange the script and fire him." Hazel explains, "but if you really don't want him here then..." She adds and I quickly shake my head. "No, no. You're right. Besides he's a background character, I'm not gonna have much contact with him anyway."

"Hi Lila." Harry makes his way over to me, "uhm. Hi" I uncomfortably smile back, absentmindedly gripping onto my phone. "I just wanted to say I'm sorry for the other day, I've had some tragic news lately and haven't been coping very well." Harry had never been able to cope with his emotions like others, he tends to lash out, fall into a depressive state or ignore all his emotions (good and bad). "Oh, uh, sorry, I guess." Harry laughs at my apology, most likely at how awkward it sounded. "Anyway, I haven't been myself lately and that isn't an excuse but-" "Harry, it's fine. It isn't an excuse but I can't be mad at you for something you can't really control." I cut him off, mainly so he would leave me alone. "Okay, great. I know this might be unusual but... Could we still be friends?" I bite the inside of my cheek, "I don't know about that..." He looks dissapointed but smiles anyway, "okay. Good luck with filming."

Harry and I had spoken a couple of times after our conversation on the first day, Jack wasn't very happy with that but I treated him like I treated everyone else I didn't really know, maybe a little more distant. But on those small occasions when I would talk with him about something other than filming I suddenly felt like we were in high school again; and a small part of me wanted to stay that way. Where my only worry's were if my friends were in my class and if I didn't do my homework. (leaving out the pressures high school actually has for dramatic effect). But the rest of me wanted to stay where I am now; fully figuring out what I want to do and who I am, arguing with Jack over movies and watching him make Youtube videos.

Jack came to visit me at lunchtime, bringing a couple of sandwiches because I forgot to bring my own. "I just wanna say hi to Hazel then we can go to the park to eat." He tells me, "okay. I'll be waiting outside." I smile and he nods.
"I ran into Harry" Jack tells me and I look at him, waiting for him to continue. "Not on purpose of course. Anyway, he apologized and told me he hoped we were happy together." "Oh, well that's good, I guess." We arrive at the park and sit on the grass, "I can't believe filming is almost over." I sigh, we just need to get a couple more shots/re-takes and we're done. "You could always make your own and put them on Youtube?" Jack suggests and I bite my tongue, his constant comments about me making a Youtube channel have slightly gotten on my nerves. "I might actually start a channel..." I mumble and he grins. "That's great!" He grins and begins pitching channel names.
"I should be getting back." I say and Jack nods, offering to walk me.

"Lila, do you want me to walk home with you? Or at least half way?" Harry asks, jogging up to me. I look around the dark abandoned street, would it be safer with him, or alone? "Yeah, I guess... but don't go out of your way to walk with me." I tell him and he nods. We start walking in silence, I have my phone unlocked and open on Jack's contact just in case I need to quickly call him. "Lets go through here." Harry says, pointing towards a dark ally. "I-I think it would be better if we stayed on the main paths, by the streetlights." I say, trying to stop my voice from shaking. "C'mon. It'll be fine." He insists, grabbing onto my elbow tightly. "Harry, I don't want to go that way." He ignores me and begins pulling me towards the ally, "you never trusted me..." He mutters, sighing. I use my free hand to push the call button on my phone, "Jack is calling me!" I announce and he stops dead in his tracks. "Lila, you alright?" Jack asks and I take a deep breath before answering. "Sort of" "what do you mean sort of? Is someone with you? Is it Harry?" I look at Harry, he's glaring at the ground. "Yes." "Can you run away without him catching you?" Harry's grip on my arm has loosened, if I yank my arm away and run I might be able to lose him. "I think so..." "I'll be on the phone with you the whole time, you'll be okay. If the line goes dead I'll call the police and be there as soon as possible. I love you." Despite the situation I'm in those three words make it seem better, "okay. I love you too."

The next update will be out by next Sunday (at the latest).
