(Dipper pov)

I slowly peel my eyes open, seeing that I'm still in Bill's arms. So last night actually happened and truly wasn't just a dream. I really had sex with him again, except this time it was different.

For once, I wanted it just as much as he did. I know I should hate him for everything that he's done to me, and a part of me does hate him. But he also seems to see me in a way that no one else ever has. The more that I'm around him the more I end up liking the violence that seems to follow him.

I'm changing, it doesn't take a genus to see that. I hardly recognize who I am anymore. The me that was trembling when I first met Bill is long gone. Now, I'm killing people and not trembling at all. The changes in me are scary but like a good kind of scary. Like going on a rollarcoaster scary.

Looking at Bill, he's not a good person by any means. But he also doesn't seem like the monster I first assumed him to be. I don't quite know the right words to really define him.

My skin tingles feeling his fingers creeping up my back. Looking up at him I see his eyes are open and he's just silently staring down at me. How long has he been awake? And why is he staring at me like that? It's fucking creepy.

"What are you staring at?" I finally break the silence.

"Nothing. It's just funny seeing how lost in your own head you get."

"How long have you even been awake?"

"Long enough."

"That's not really an answer."

"Well it's the only answer that you are getting."

He pulls his arms away from me as he gets out of bed and starts pulling on his clothes. I sit up leanig back against the headboard, my hands fidgeting with the blanket in my lap.

"Bill, you said that we would need to be leaving in a few weeks, right?"

"Yeah. Why do you ask?"

"I was just wondering if we could possibly do something normal together before we had to be on the run again."

"Why would you want to do something as stupid as that?"

I shrug as I look down at my hands. He firmly grabs my chin forcing me to look up at him.

"Shrugging is not an answer. Use your words properly, Pinetree."

"I just, I mean.....things are just always so chaotic. I just thought it would be nice to do something normal for once before everything gets more chaotic. I don't know, maybe it was just a stupid idea."

He lets go of me as he takes a seat on the bed. "It's not the worst idea out there."

"You really think so?"

"Yeah. What exactly did you have in mind?"

"I don't really know. Maybe going out to eat somewhere and catching a movie? It should be fine since you made us both look different after all."

"Any specific movie in mind?"

"Not really."

"Any specific resturants in mind?"

"No, I don't really know what is good around here."

"Well, if you really want to go on a date then we can."

"I never called it a date."

"I know. But I did. Now get your ass out of bed and dressed. Can't go out if you're not wearing clothes."

I get out of bed, grabbing my clothes off the floor and pulling them on. He walks over to me straightening out my clothes before kissing my forehead.

"You all ready to go, Pinetree?"

"Yeah, I think so at least." I watch him grab his pistol and put it in the back of his waistband before covering it with his hoodie. "Do you really need to bring that?"

"It's just in case."

"In case of what? In case we get recognized or something? You said we should be fine."

"And we should be. But I'm not taking any chances and risk losing you all over again."

"But at what cost?"

"At any cost. Now, you said that you are good to go?"

"Yeah. I mean I think that I am at least."

"Well let's stop with this stupid talking shit and get going while the day is still young."

He walks out of the room and I follow him out. He locks the room before walking past the car.

"Aren't we going to use the car?"

"Nah. We've been stuck in that cramped car long enough. A walk and some fresh air could do us both some good."

He holds his hand out for me. I take it and he leads me down the sidewalk.

"So, where exactly are we going? Besides to eat and catch a movie I mean."

"Glad you asked, Pinetree. Since neither of us are at all familiar with this city I thought the two of us cold walk and decide on a place to eat. As for the movie, do you have anything specific in mind to see?"

"Um....not really, but no horror movies please."

"Not a fan?"

"Not at all."

"Okay. Whatever we see, it won't be a horror movie. Promise."

As we walk I see him peek over his shoulder in a subtle way. I wince slightly feeling his grip tighten on my hand.

"Ow ow....Bill you're hurting me...."

"Listen to me carefully and do not look behind us. Understood?"

"O-Okay, but what's going on?"

"There's an undercover cop who has been following us since the motel."

"What?!" I go to look behind us but his nails dig into my hand painfully."

"What did I just fucking say?"

"S-Sorry....but what do we do?"

"Just follow my lead and keep calm."

I gulp nervously as we keep walking. A police car drives by. My blood goes cold as a few feet ahead the car turns its sirents on and turns heading back towards us.

"Shit!" He curses under his breath.

He pulls me into a nearby alley going into a full sprint.

Another cop car blocks the other end of the alley, forcing us to stop. He turns back the way we came but the undercover cop blocks the way with his gun drawn.

Bill puts his arm around my neck tightly keeping me trapped against him. I whimper softly, grabbing at his arm as I feel his pistol pushed against my temple.

"You fucking pigs stay the fuck back or he's dead! I will splatter his brains like there is no tomorrow!"

"B-Bill, p-please....."

"Don't worry, Pinetree." I feel him whisper in my ear. "I won't let them take you away from me ever again."

A loud gunshot is heard behind us and Bill's grip on me goes limp as he falls to the ground.

Turning around I see a cop at the end of the alley, smoke coming from his gun. Looking down I see Bill's body. He lays slumped on his side, his eyes wide open and a bullet hole through his forehead.

I fall to my knees, tears cascading down my cheeks. It feels like something deep inside of me completely shatters apart.

"No no no...." I grab Bill's shoulder, weakly shaking him and hoping that this whole day was just a horrid dream. "Bill, please please wake up! You have to wake up for me please!"

The undercover cop grabs me from behind forcefully pulling me away screaming and kicking.
