Chapter 36: How?

Fable's POV:

I banged my fists on the table, how could Evory failed? How is this possible? Then I felt an energy burst, I knew this burst. Gregory used to have these when he was mad, upset, or hurt. I stood up, this is how you want to play then, sister. Then I will play this way then, I will kill Alexander no matter what it takes.

No one can stop me, I went to the glass cell where Noah was. Then when I got there, the glass was smashed. He escaped! I groan in frustration , this isn't what my game was suppose to be. I put the wrong pawns in the wrong spots. But I can't changed that, I need to Vince to make something for me. I will kill Evan and I will get my sister back. Even if it means I have to hurt people.

Evan's POV:

" I don't trust you with my little sister, " Evory said to me, " Well, I don't trust you with Gia, " I said back at him. I carried Gia in my arms, I should have known he had energy bursts. That's why he never gets very emotional or very angry. I entered my room and I set Gia on the bed. " May I ask, why are you with my little sister?" EVory asked to me. " First all, he is a boy and he is your brother. Second all, I love him, Evory. Third of all, he is pregnant, " I explained and  he become mad. 

" He what? " He asked in anger voice, I sighed and facepalm myself. " He is pregnant, " I repeated, and Evory grabbed my collar of my jacket. " You got him pregnant, you son of a bitch, " he shouted in my face. I pushed him away a bit, " Unlike you, I spend with my lover. You barely spend time with your lover, Vale ( Not Valentina), " I told to him and he sighed. " I had to push Vale away from my work with the government. I don't want him to get hurt, " Evory told to me, so he doesn't know yet. 

So only me, Eliza, and their parents know about Gregory works for the government as well. " You still don't know, only me, Eliza and yours guys' parents know, " I said out of the blue and he stared at me. " What do you mean?" He asked to me, and I sighed again. This is a great time to tell him, Alexander. Great job! I had my hand on my forehead and my arm on my other arm. " Gia been working for government longer than you. Since he was 14 years old, " I answered, and he look like he seen a ghost.

" What!?!" He exclaimed, but not too loud. " He been working for the government for that long, why didn't he tell us? " He was concerned all of an sudden. This idiot. " He wanted to protect you guys, he told me when a few months in his job. Unlike you, he told me and I helped him with those missions all the time. But he only denied them when you guys were still around. Then when you guys went missing, he took every mission. But I accidently left him on mission and he hated me for almost 4 years. But I make it up to him, he works 3 jobs, Evory. He is been trying to provide for 19 people in an house. But due to his insomnia, he is barely tired at night. During the day, he is tired but he never showed it. Only to me, apparently. The other reason he works at the government to find you guys, he spend years trying to find you. I made an promise to find you guys as well. But he is mad, when Eliza told the truth. He was mad for weeks, and it took me a while to get him to talk to Eliza again. He really misses you and the rest of his family."

Evory stood, astonished. " Is that all?" He asked to me, and I shook my head no. " He is mentally ill for years, he been seeing a therapist to help him. But I been helping him too, plus I just realized he didn't take his pills again. Fuck, " I cursed and we both heard a groan. I knew Gia was waking up and I took his pill bottles. Then I sat beside him, " W-what happened? " He asked.

Gregory's POV:

" W-what happened? " I asked and I looked at Evan and my older brother. " You need to take your meds, " Evan told to me, and he gave me my pill bottles. I took them and I drank some water. Then I looked at Evory, " Why did you made that rule? " I asked to him and he looked at me, then the ground.

" I didn't thought that will hurt you, " he finally answered, and I was mad. Not like mad mad, like angry mad. " I can't believe you, I misses all of you and you left me to survive on my own. I had work three jobs to provide for the souls who were in pain. You didn't thought, you didn't think, I had to suffered knowing my family was missing and Fable was dead. But she faked her death and famed it on Evan's men and Evan. I had to live that pain for years on end. I would cry in my room every night trying to sleep , but I couldn't. The reason was I am insomniac, I had to hide from Evan before he made it up to. I had to protect the souls, I had to keep going without stopping, I had to face every fucking disasters and mission what the government send me. But I been asking about how can I find you, Eliza, mom, dad and papa. But their answer was the same, ' We cannot find them, but we will keep looking. ' I was given that answer for years. Every time I tried asking, that was the answer. But why didn't you guys just came back?"
