Chapter 38: Everything makes sense

Gregory's POV:

" You are telling me that Violet erased her own memories about the war, " Evan repeated what I said to him and I nodded. " This is why she was being weird and aggressive around me because she wiped her memories of the war. But why? " Evan asked to me and I sighed. Then I was silent for a few moments. " She always wanted to forget about the war, but I didn't know why she hated you until now. "

Evan looked at me, " You had vision about the future, " he looked at me. I was shocked he knew about the vision I had a few weeks or so ago. " How?" I asked to him and he looked at me. " I can enter into your mind as well as Violet, Ivy, " he answered and I forgot he can do that too. " We need to find a way to stop her for good. But I need to talk to my sister about that, I said and Evan glanced at me with a look on his face. " How about your older brother, Evory? " He asked to me, and I don't really talk to Evory as much. " I really don't know, he was always busy with things, " I answered, and I was silent.

" Maybe you should talk to him, darling. He been overprotective of you, plus he loves you because he is your older brother. Please talk to him, this is chance, love, " Evan suggest and he did convinced me. " Alright Ev, I will do it because of you convincing, " I crossed my arms, then I left the room. I went to the room my brother was staying at. I know where was my brother was because of presence. If I felt a familiar presence, and I kept walking until I found myself in front of a door. I knocked on it, and Evory opened it. " I want to talk to you, " I said before he answer, and he let me in. 

We stared at each other a bit, until Evory broke the silent. " So, what do you want to talk about? " Evory asked to me with serious voice. " Well, " I started as I sat on the table. " I know why Fable wants to kill my lover, " and Evory looked at me with a look. " Why is that? " Evory asked to me, and I sighed. " She wiped her memories of the war and she met Alexander during the war. Plus, I know why she did it, because she wanted to forgot about the war. I didn't erase my memories before I reincarnate, I kept all of them to keep myself from making the same mistakes. But I failed, I did made the same mistakes. I wanted to fix them, but I failed again. I just don't want my twin sister of my past life get hurt when she learns the truth. I want you to help me with this, want to help her. She needs help, I don't know what to do. Plus I know I am the intelligent one, but I am very worried, I can't think straight because of it."

Evory looked at me with a shocked look. " I know I don't ask for help from you because I usually do them alone, " I said and Evory hugged me. " Look sis, you been through a lot, I been thinking what you said. We should have came back, you been hurting, but you found a way to heal,  unlike Fable. You keep going and persevere unlike me and our other siblings. You are intelligent like dad, you have mom's personality and you may not have papa's genes, but you have his protective personality. You will do anything, you are Ivory of the pure souls. Even though, you may not be look like her, but you sounds like her. You are the person we need, Evan need, Fable need, and your child needs. You are going to get through this, now I sound like * laugh a bit* dad, " Evory explained and then he stopped hugging me, he was right.

I can stop Fable no matter what, and we heard a knock on the door. Then the door opened, we saw it was Vince. Evory's face changed expression, " You, you tried to kill my sister, you monster," Evory got up. Vince wasn't fazed, " Fable forced me, I know, I know. I worked for both Evan and Fable, plus I worked more here. Fable is going to lure you and the rest to somewhere only Evan and Gia knows. You need to be prepared, I told your family and Evan about Fable's plan. I don't want to lose the only family members I have left. Plus, you taught me the right things. Please, you need to be ready, cousins. Plus don't tell Fable I told you until you have to, "Vince ordered us to keep our mouths to be shut about Vince's betrayal to Fable.

Then he left, " You should get going before Evan gets worry where you are, Gia, " Evory suggested and I went back to the room I was staying at. I opened the door and Evan wasn't there. I guess he was in the office again, and I went to the office. I opened the door, quietly. He was there, I was right. I entered the room very quietly, and I closed the door. I went towards him and his back at me as usual. Then I put my hand on his shoulder, " I knew you were there, love, " Evan said, and I groaned in defeat. " How do you even know when I am coming? " I asked to him and he chuckled, then he turned around. " Because I am smart and I can hear your thoughts, remember? Plus your thoughts are interesting, " Evan remarked and I blushed a bit. 

" Idiot, " I said as I covered my face. He hugged me, " I mean they are something, but they are sad most of the time because of your mental health, " Evan remarked and it was true. But we need to stop Fable from hurting other people. Then we heard the door opened and a letter fell into the room. Then the door closed and Evan let go of me. I went to pick up the letter, and I picked it up. Plus it was for me, and I opened it, then I read what it was in the letter.
