"UNO!" jack called out causing the girl to roll her eyes. he won for the fifth time.
"jack, did you suggest playing uno because you knew your better at it?" maeve raised her eyebrows at him.
he paused his movement and looked back up at her, "maybe." jack shrugged with a grin.
"i knew it!" she tackled him playfully on the picnic blanket. they both started to laugh when he flipped them over so now he was hovering over her. their laughters began to falter when they noticed how small the space became between their faces.
the stars shining on them made maeve's eyes have a little spark in them and jack couldn't help but stare.
he leaned in and finally kissed her. his lips against hers were soft and sweet. her eyes fluttered close and wasted no time in kissing him back. they both have been waiting for this.
he wrapped his arm around her waist while his other one was still holding himself up. jack pulled away from the kiss and she seemed annoyed from this, "is this okay?" he asked.
"jack."
"yes?"
"just shut up and continue kissing me."
"alright then."
she grabbed the collar of his shirt and slammed her lips against his again. maeve couldn't help but smile into the kiss.
