"kiara"
kie turns around to see the person she wanted to see the least.
"i don't feel like doing this right now" kie says, going to turn away.
melody grabs her arm and stops her.
"get off of me" kie says, snatching her arm away.
"look, kiara" melody says.
kie folds her arms and looks at her. "what?" she says.
"you're gonna break up with jj, and stay away from him and john b, and pope, and sarah" melody says.
kie chuckles. "am i fuck" she says, going to turn away.
"i have something, that can cause your whole group a lot of pain" melody says.
kie turns back around again and melody shows kie her phone.
kie looks at it as a video starts playing. "what is this?" she says as she watches it.
melody doesn't say anything, she just watches as kie watches the video.
"that's edited" kie says.
"yes, but there's no way to prove it" melody says.
"were you there?" kie says.
"no, it was like 10 years ago. it's CCTV" melody says.
"so what, if i don't break up with jj and drop all of my friends you're gonna turn in this edited video of jj pushing his mom off a bridge? he was 8!" kie says.
"yes, i am. that could send him away for life, kiara" melody says.
"you mean, a week, until they prove it's fake and edited" kie says.
"there's no way to prove it was edited, this is the only copy of this video out there" melody says.
"well there's obviously an unedited version" kie says.
"not anymore. i had it destroyed. there's no way out of this kiara. you have until the end of the day to do it or i turn the video in. and if you tell them about this conversation, i turn it in" melody says, before walking away.
kie stand her, speechless. she's gonna have to break up with jj. she's gonna have to drop all of her friends. and they don't even know the real reason why. they'll just think she's being a bad person. fuck.

she takes a deep breathe as she stands outside of the chateau. this is it. she's been going over how she's gonna do this for the past hour and she's still terrified. she walks inside and is immediately greeted with laughter.
"kie, hey!" sarah says.
"hi.." kie says.
"what's up? are you okay?" jj says.
she takes a deep breathe. she was going to have a proper conversation with them, but in the moment, watching them laugh, she just wanted to get it over with before she changed her mind and got jj arrested.
"um, i think it's best if i don't talk to you guys anymore" kie spits out. they all go silent.
"what?" sarah says.
"jj, i think we should break up, and you guys, i think we shouldn't be friends anymore" kie says.
"what? kiara?" john b says.
"i'm sorry" kie says, turning around and walking out of the door. jj runs after her.
"kie!" he says.
"kiara please wait!" he says.
he catches up to her and stands in front of her.
"kiara?" he says.
she looks down as tears drop out of her eyes.
"it's for your own good, okay" kie says.
"kiara" jj says again.
"jj!" kie says back.
"don't do this" he says.
she looks down as more tears leave her eyes.
"remember, what you said last week? we're gonna get through it together" jj says.
kie shakes her head. "you don't understand. i have to do this" she says.
"no you don't" jj says. "we can figure it out together" he says.
"jj please, stop making this harder than it already is!" she says.
"what are you doing!? why are you doing this?" he says.
she doesn't say anything.
"kiara! why!?" he shouts.
"because i don't love you anymore! okay? i don't love any of you anymore!" kie shouts.
jj stands speechless as a tear leaves his eye. "you don't mean that" he says.
"i'm sorry" she says, walking round him and away from the chateau.
sarah walks towards him and hugs him. he hugs her back as he cries onto her shoulder.
kie walks away as tears stream down her face. that was, by far, the hardest thing she's ever done.
"she doesn't mean it, jj. she doesn't mean it" sarah says.
"she said she doesn't love any of us anymore" jj says.
"she's lying, okay? she does. she loves us so much, she'll come around. i don't know what the hell happened there but, but i'll talk to her, okay? it'll be okay" sarah says.

kie sits in her room when she gets a message.
she looks at her phone and reads it.
unknown number
"did you do it?"
kie: "how do you have my number?"
"come on, kiara. you should know by now i'm capable of a lot"
kie: "yes. i did it. now you have to keep your end of the deal. don't turn in the video"
"i won't, as long as you keep your word and stay away from them"
kie sighs as she throws her phone on her bed. she puts her head in her knees and cries. just a day ago, she had a perfect life. a perfect boyfriend, perfect friends, everything she needed. and now she has nothing. she told them she doesn't love them anymore. of course she loves them. she loves them more than anything. that's why she's doing this.
her and jj never even said they loved each other, but they both knew they did so they didn't really have to. everything is ruined. and it's all because of melody.
