Within the shadows that surrounded me, I could see a faint light nearby.

Carefully, I rose up from the cold damp ground as I heard a hushed whisper, "Prudence."

Cautiously I paused and glanced around the thick darkness, but I couldn't make anything out.

Letting my steps continue I only stopped once I was inches away from the illuminated ball of light.

My curiosity getting the better of me, I reached out to touch the light. As my fingers brushed against the cold bright light, I felt a sudden chill run down my spine.

Suddenly, the light flickered and went out, plunging me into total darkness.

In the next moment a loud scream  pierced my ears causing me to place my hands upon my ears to lessen the scream.

A large gust of wind blew me down towards the ground as I curled and began to scream for God to help me.

As the rush of everything going on around me lessened I layed curled up on the ground as a metallic smell tickled my senses.

"Prudence.... Open your eyes." I heard the voice from an earlier whisper. It sounded as if the woman was right next to me.

The chaos of whatever had surrounded me moments prior had vanished  as I slowly began removing my hands away from my tear filled face.

The bright sun blinded me for a few seconds as I blinked rapidly to find myself surrounded by a lush field of green.

The blades of the thick grass tickled my ankles as I ventured deeper into the field.

I could hear the gentle hum of insects and the chirping of birds in the distance.

Sniffing the warm fresh  summer air I could smell the heavily fragrant wildflowers were as the smell carried in the breeze.

Letting all my worries melt, I closed my eyes and let a sense of peace wash over me as I layed down in the mix of wildflowers.

In the peacefulness I got a hint of a metallic smell that caused my nose to wrinkle in disgust.

For I knew exactly what that smell ment. There was blood nearby.

Using my elbows, I sat up looking around at the peaceful sight until my eyes landed on a petal from a flower that had fallen on ground below it.

Rolling over I sat up and leaned towards the petal that had a drop of blood on it, that had stained the white petal into a dark maroon color.

As my finger tip touched the drop of blood the ground seemed to ooze with the maroon tent blood as I dropped the petal and fell backwards on my butt.

A loud screech pierced through my confused thoughts as I covered my ears and curled up against the ground as the wind picked up around me.

As the large gust of wind toasted me back-in-forth I opened my eyes to find the lush green field had become a sea of deep red with a trail of districts on either side of me.

I leaned over once more to look upon the flowers that now were drenched in thick red blood as a tingle back to make its way down my spine.

Turning around quickly I glared at the red field as I saw nothing before me that could cause such a reaction.

However as I went to turn back around to observe the odd flowers I caught a glimpse of something large in the corner of my eyes that halted my movements.

Slowly I turned back in front of me to find a large black wolf with piercing blue eyes mere inches away from where I sat.

The fur of the large beast seemed to be covered in blood I knew deep down wasn't his blood.
