"Where are my manners!" The woman shouted as she turned around and we all halted in our tracks.

"I am Amella!" She said loudly for our entire group to hear before continuing down a long bare hallway with multiple doors on either side.

On our way up the stairs I heard a woman scream in excitement as she rushed down to meet us.

I watched as she wrapped her arms around Kayden causing him to nearly lose his balance.

"Lillian?" He questioned as she kissed his cheek and smiled.

"My father has had a horrible cold but is recovering so he sent me here to help Lady Amella with some of her paperwork."

The woman with her legs wrapped around Kaden said as she grinned up at him.

"Get a room! I am scarving so please can we hurry this up!" Henry shouted holding my suitcases.

After that we made our way up towards the sitting room as "the slut" as I have called her in my head would not keep her hands off of Kaden or her mouth shut.

Entering the large sitting area I ventured away from where the others of the group gathered around the main area.

As I chose to sit far away from the crowd near a lonely seat in front of the fireplace.

Getting lost in the beauty of the flames I had yet to realize someone had placed a bowl of soup near me until Paige brought a seat next to mine.

"If that Lillian girl doesn't learn how to shut her mouth I will teach her!"

Paige angrily whispered towards me causing me to nearly spit out my soup.

"I decided it would be best for me to keep my mouth shut about all that happened over there."

I said pointing at the two of them as "the slut" moved her hand seductively up and down his leg.

As I pointed Kaden noticed and stood up causing "the slut" to nearly fall over into her half eaten soup.

"I shall leave you two to talk." Paige said as she smiled at me.

Before I could protest Kaden had taken her seat and let out a sigh of frustration.

"Why are you near me?" I questioned turning my body as far away from him as possible.

"I could feel your jealousy from a mile away sunshine." He said as I saw a grin appear on his lips.

"I can't believe you!" I shouted as I stood up and began to walk out of the two large wooden doors.

Grabbing a hold of my arm I was pulled back into his large muscular chest.

My breath quickened waiting for him to do something we both would regret in the morning.

I felt his warm breath caress my neck as my pulse thudded loudly in my ear.

"Just admit it Prudence. You want me all to yourself." He said as I pulled my arm out of his grip.

As anger filled every inch of my body my fist met his sharp jaw line with a satisfying thud as he looked at me in confusion.

"I would sleep with you even if you paid me to!"

I shouted, causing everyone in the room to halt in their conversations and focus only on me and Kaden.

Making my way out of the doors leaving Kaden stunted I quickly turned around and pointed towards him.

"If you truly want your fun tonight how about you keep Lillian's bed warm tonight!" I shouted.

"It wouldn't be the first time Kayden!" I heard "the slut" scream towards the two of us as I walked out of the room.

"One more thing! I preferred when you gave me the silent treatment Leo!" I spat as I slammed the two doors behind me.

"Little Rat! Quit walking so fast!" I heard Tore scream as I ran down the stairs.

"What do you want? I know I just disrespected your future king but he deserved it." I spat, turning around to face her.

"He did deserve every bit, however I was coming to show you where you will be staying for the night."

She said as she began to lead me down the hallway.

"How can he live with himself after acting the way he has towards me ever since I met him."

I said as she opened a door with my bags already set in one of the corners of the rooms.

She remained silent, not offering any response as  I sighed and stepped into the room.

I felt a sense of relief wash over me as the door closed behind me.

Slowly walking over towards the large bed I collapsed onto it, exhausted from the day's events.

I awoke some time later by a nightmare slowly opening my tear soaked eyes.

I found a large warm body near me with his arms wrapped around my waist.

Fully opening my eyes I found him staring down at me, a concerned look on his face.

He held me in a tight embrace as I began to cry, relieved to be in his arms.

I buried my face in his chest, breathing in his familiar scent and feeling the gentle rhythm of his heartbeat.

"You do know this doesn't change the fact I am still angry at you." I sobbed, whipping a tear from my cheek.

"I know but you woke up screaming and I wanted you to feel safe." He said, causing my cheeks to flush.

"Thank you. But I believe it is time for you to find your way to your own room." I said as the words barely made it out of my mouth.

I watched him walk out of the door as my mind and heart began to start a war with each other over how I kicked him out.

Letting out a breath of frustration I let sleep once again take over my exhausted body.
