As everything moved slowly around me, I barely heard the large wooden doors being slammed shut.

In the next moment I heard my sister scream as she ran over to where I sat on the cold marble floor.

"What happened?" Paige asked as she looked towards where I assume Kayden stood, hovering over me.

"She acted as if she was a child and had an outburst." Kayden spat as my vision began to focus on my sisters.

"Take them back up stairs and handle the wound!" Kayden demanded two warriors near us.

"Perhaps tomorrow you can handle your emotions better."

Kayden whispered as he used his finger to guide my head to where he hovered over me.

Instead of allowing my heart to be ripped father out of my chest by his actions today.

I turned my eyes and focused on the wall where my blood now turned a dirty brown color.

"Don't pick her up so cruelly!" I heard Paige say as she slapped one of the warriors pulling me to my feet.

Motioning towards Paige it was alright I steady myself as I began to walk back towards the large bed chamber.

After some time I walked over to where I heard a soft knocking sound  coming from my closet.

I felt the heavy wooden boards that were poorly nailed into the wall blocking the secret door.

However I could still hear Paige's voice on the other side talking to me.

"Paige, I lost myself in the darkness today. I let rage filter through my body and it caused my gift to transform evil. Thankfully Kayden was there to calm me down."

I said in a saden tone as tears began to flow down my cheeks.

"Prudence, everyone isn't perfect. Please don't beat yourself up over a small incident."

Paige said as I let my head fall against the cold wooden boards.

"I saw the fear in every warrior's eyes as I walked past them up to my room."

I scoffed, while pulling  a large blanket I had grabbed off of the bed onto my shivering legs.

Breaking the stale silence I said, "Perhaps I am not the right person for all the gifts God has bestowed upon me." I admitted.

"Prudence, you are the most annoying and sometimes angriest person I have ever met...."

She paused in her comments, as I raised an eyebrow towards the wall.

"However you have more kindness in your little finger than I will ever have." She finished as I smiled.

"Mother used to tell me that at night when I would be jealous of something you got to do that day."

I admitted with a smile stretching across my wet cheeks.

"What I am trying to get through your stubborn mind sister. Is that God has chosen you for a purpose?"

She whispered as I heard her head fall gently against the wood.

"Paige what if I can't handle all the burdens that having these gifts bring upon my life."

I said as another wave of tears fell down my cheeks.

"Must I truly quote everything our dear mother has ever told you!" She huffed before continuing.

"He has chosen you for a reason. God knows what you can handle and I believe that you can do anything you put your mind to. Also dear sister you are quite stubborn at times. So don't let the darkness make you feel doubt. He chose you for a reason."

Paige finished as I whipped the tears from my eyes.

"I believe the ending was of your mouth and not of your mothers." I stated as we both laughed.

I leaned forward as I heard a knock on the large wooden doors that enter my bed chamber.

"We will talk later." I quickly said as I emerged from the closet just in time to see the women that had pinned me against the wall bringing in a tray of food.

Carefully I walked over to where she was placing the small tray onto an end table near the plush couch.

She flinched when she noticed my closeness and began to walk out the door.

"Please." I said rushing towards her and stopping a few feet away, allowing her to have a sense of safety at my distance.

"Did I cause that?" I questioned as I pointed to her wrapped leg.

"Your wicked magic did that to me." She spat truing away and reached for the doorknob.

"Please, I was not in my right mind when I did this. At least let me heal it."

I said watching her eyes follow my movements until I was inches away from where she stood.

"Jackson !" I heard the women scream towards the door as a large handsome warrior walked in with his blade drawn.

"The little rat wants to heal my wound." She scoffed as she smiled towards the large man.

"Henry told me she could heal wounds. Tore, the way the wound looks, I believe you should let her try to heal it since she was the one to rip it to shreds."

The man named Jackson said, as he placed his blade back into the sheath around his hip.

"Fine! But don't try anything, or my friend here will have your head on the wooden floor in seconds."

The women name Tore said as she walked over towards the plush couch and sat on the far side.

I cautiously sat down and placed her wounded leg onto my lap as I closed my eyes.

Letting the gift arise through my soul until it was made visible, I heard  Tore screamed as she saw the silvery mist cover her leg.

"It tingles!" she shouted once more until two more warriors rushed into the bedchamber to see the silvery mist cover Tore's entire leg.

"What is the women doing now!" I heard one of them demand as Jackson held out a hand causing the warrior to put away their long blades.

Once I felt the gift dissipate back into my skin I opened my eyes to see Tore with her mouth a gape as she unraveled the bandages that covered her leg.

"You truly healed my leg!" Tore shouted as the three warriors began to crowd her and examine her leg for themselves.

"I was given this gift by the one true God of the universe. Sometimes however I have found that Satan will try to use these amazing gifts to his advantage."

I said as the others standing before me turned their attention towards me.

"What is going on here?" I heard a familiar sounding voice as I jumped to my feet to find Henry standing at my door way.

"You must forgive me dear piglet. I needed to figure out what Kaydens plans were."

I stumble towards him. "You must not call him that around the others." Henry whispered into my ear as he wrapped his large arms around me.

"Piglet?" Tore said in an amused tone as she began to laugh at the nickname I had given Henry.

"The name fits your old friend." Jackson said as he walked over towards where we both stood.

"I believe we shall give my lovely sunshine time to rest after using so much of her gifts." Henry said as he began to usher everyone out of the room.

"You may still be on my bad side, however I will try to be more pleasant to you."

Tore whispered in my ear before everyone but Henry left the bedchambers.

"Good night sunshine." He winked then headed out of the door, leaving a small burning candle near the food on the side table.
