"She is stuck in her subconscious. It's up to her to figure away out...."
I heard a distant voice say as my eyelashes flickered open.
Rolling over to my side with a grunt of frustration, I found a long narrow hallway.
On either side we're thousands of doors.
"I have gone completely mad. I see my mothers ghost that tried to kill me. And now I am stuck in my own subconscious." I said with a sigh.
"Prudence, if you can hear me, you are stuck in your subconscious. You need to find a way out." I heard a distant yet familiar voice say.
Rolling my eyes at her voice I began walking slowly towards the long hallway.
After walking for what felt like an eternity, I halted my steps as one of the doors on my right caught my attention.
I ran my fingertips over the shiny metal plate over the door. "The Meadow''.
Slowly reaching for the door handle I let my fingers turn the nob as a warm summer breeze hit my face.
Closing my eyes I could picture the small purple and yellow flowers in the meadow.
"Hurry Pruedence, we must beat mother and father to the pond."
I quickly opened my eyes to find Paige and I running through the meadow as our parents chased us.
A rare smile began to spread across my face as a single tear trickled down my cheek.
Closing my eyes I felt the warmth of love and how happy I was in that moment.
"Prudence." A deep husky voice said from behind me, causing me to go completely stiff.
I felt his warm hands slide across my shoulders until they were firmly planted.
Turning me slowly around I found piercing blue eyes staring into mine.
"We must find whatever memory you are hiding from yourself." He said, catching me off guard after a few minutes of silence.
"To be able to do that I would need you to let go of my shoulders." I said with a shaky voice.
Nodding his head, he slowly let go of my shoulders and placed his hands near his side.
"I have been walking for what seems like an eternity and all the doors look the same." I mentioned as I began to put distance between me and the large man before me.
Settling against one of the doors I rubbed my hands over my face as I heard his footsteps halt in front of me.
"Why do you go completely still every time I touch you?" He asked, kneeling before me.
Looking towards the floor for a long minute I thought the best way to describe what his touch does without as Paige would say "desperate".
"Why should I even answer you? I have no clue why you are here currently in my subconscious. Nor do I even know your name." I said as I leaned towards him.
I began to ramble as I stared down at the white tile floor.
"Unless you are a figment of my imagination that is here to help me. However I have no clue why my mind would conjure up the feeling I get when you touch me. Although the mind is a powerful thing..."
He placed his large warm hands against my face causing me to pause mid sentence as he began to lift my gaze towards his.
"My name is Leopold but everyone calls me Leo." He said as a smile began to appear upon his stone cold face.
