After a few moments of silence between Henry and I, he was the first one to break the silence.

"Could you heal wounds?" He asked, grabbing his dagger from where it was secured on his hip.

"I have..." Before I could finish my statement I saw him slowly pull the sharpened blade over his hand.

My stomach flipped at the sight of the pain that crossed his features.

"Don't be scared, we werewolves heal quicker than normal humans." He said his hand began to pour blood onto his white shirt.

"I can try to heal it." I said as he held out his hand towards me.

This time I found it easier to find the power within myself. I watched as the radiant light seeped from my chest and down to my fingertips.

The bright light wrapped itself around my hand, onto his hand I held.

"It feels warm and something else I have never felt before." Henry said as a rare smile formed on his face.

Slowly the light vanished as it seeped back into my skin as if it was never there.

Removing my hand from his I stared at his healed palm. "Don't tell anyone this. But Prudence, I believe your God has given you a great and powerful gift." Henry said.

My eyebrow raised his comment as I picked up the book, sitting down I began to ponder over the pages once more as Henry took his seat closer to me than before.

After another hour went by I heard Paige and Mrs. Lisa came inside as Henry left me to help them with the food.

"Prudence, go scrub up, dinner is ready." I heard Paige say as she leaned over me.

"What time is it?" I asked, placing the book down and rubbing my eyes.

"You must have fallen asleep when we were preparing dinner. But either way, go clean up and meet me in the kitchen." She said as she walked out of the newly darkened library.

Placing the book down onto the table beside the chair I stood and stretched as my back protested.

Once I was cleaned up I made my way into the kitchen to find everyone except for the person I so desperately wanted to see.

"Hurry and sit down so we can say Grace." Henry said, causing me to roll my eyes as I sat down near George.

"Did you try anything out of the book today?" He asked as he leaned closer towards me.

"I did and I am amazed at the gift God has given me." I said honestly as I patted the napkin against my lips.

"Oh Prudence, this little town has the most adorable little shops. Maybe tomorrow you can join me." Paige said, causing me to look her way.

Once dinner was over I helped Mrs. Lisa picked up then headed for bed as did the others.

Laying down I couldn't help but wonder where Leo was. However I quickly let the soothing darkness of sleep surround me as I heard the door across mine open and close then footsteps echoed down the hallway.

Stepping out of the covers,  I made my way towards the window in the room that faced the back door.

I watched as Leo slipped out of the door and looked back to make sure no one was following.

Grabbing a black cloak I slipped on some shoes and headed out the door after him.

Slipping out of the back door I began to follow Leo in the shadows of the small town.

Passing all the little stores my sister had mentioned to me at dinner, a smile crossed my face as I saw Leo stop mid step as I nearly fell on my face when I saw him turn towards me.

His piercing gaze was locked on mine as he strode towards me. My breath hitched as I began to back up until I ran into a beam.

Stopping before me he wrapped his arm under my cloak grasping my hips and pushing his body into mine.

"Why did you follow me?" He asked in a husk whisper in my ear.

Breathing heavily I breathed, "I have no clue." I whispered as he glanced over my shoulder.

"Forgive me princess." He said as his lips grazed my neck.

"For what?" I asked as his lips met mine and the shock of power in his kiss had my knees wanting to buckle underneath me.

However his strong grip on my hips helped me keep my balance as my head became foggy in lust.

I could feel a hardness growing against my leg as he pressed harder into me as our lips continued to collide in the most perfect dance that only we knew.

Pulling away his breathing quickened as he gripped my wrist and began to walk me back the way we came.

"What was all that about?" I asked him, forcing him to stop in a dark alley.

Without speaking he handed me a piece of paper with my face drawn on it with a reward for whoever brings me alive to the king.

"The artist made me look better than I do in real life." I said jokingly.

"You are not safe here." He said, trying to pull me away.

"You still have not answered my question." I started pulling my wrist out of his tight grip.

"There were two armed soldiers walking behind you. I made sure they passed without seeing your face." He said as he gripped my wrist again.

"Now please, I must get you out of the streets before someone sees you." Leo said as we turned a corner to face an armed soldier.

The dim candle light from the street lights caused the man standing before us to see the wanted paper in my hand.

Taking his eyes from the paper his eyes met mine as I watched his left hand going for his sword.
