Mother wrapped her wings around me and cried. We were both devastated. Anemone squeezed in between us and we each stood there sobbing and devastated.
"M-Mother...What...are we...going to...do?" I managed to choke out in between sobs.
"I'm not sure darling but we must find a new king." she said.
But before I could say anything else a big fiery ball crashed through the Summer Palace. We were being attacked by the SkyWings! I looked up and saw the guards starting to fight. I screamed and covered myself with my wings. Another one hit right next to me and I was blasted into the water.
"LAPIS!!" I heard my mother scream. There was another splash and mother picked me up.
My head was spinning and my body felt like it was on fire. This was the worst pain I had ever felt in my entire life. I just hoped that Skua and Ice were okay. What about the Dragonets Of Destiny! We splashed through the surface of the water and I flew out of my mother's grasp. There were SeaWings screaming and fighting for their lives. I knew we would get out of here alive. I flew ahead and my neck was grabbed by one of the SkyWings. I was jerked to the side and then stabbed in the chest with one of the SkyWings spears. Blood spilled out of my chest and I gasped for air. The spear wasn't down deep enough to kill me but it would make a mark. I was thrown aside and I bumped into the sides of the protective shield for the Summer Palace. I tried to fly forward but I managed to fly out of the Summer Palace instead. I splashed into the water and screamed. The salt water was stinging the wound on my chest. I swam as fast as I could to the shore of Pyrrhia and I dragged my body onto the shore. I got up and headed for the forest. I collapsed in pain and the world of darkness surrounded me.
