At the end of season 2 we see Daki choose to go to hell to be with her brother, so this is based on the idea of like...an afterlife or something like that.//
Ruka didn't understand at all at first anything that was going on when Obani showed up. It took Kyojuro explaining it a few different times to make her actually understand. She advoided him like the plauge for a while. Her understanding was he was scared of women so he wouldn't like her if she tried to get to know him since Shinjuro basically adopted him.
However after a while she eventually did get time to him. She got a much clearer story and she felt a lot better. She just didn't want to bother him, but she was glad knowing he didn't feel bothered. With time the same way Shinjuro became a dad was the same way she became a mom.
Iguro never has gotten over the anxiety around women, but he had definitely learned that with Ruka she would absolutely never hurt him nor did she care he wasnt her biological son. She felt so terrible about his life before, she was very glad he had started to like her. And very hopeful that in the next life, she might be his real mother or atleast around to love him the way his real mother should have.
Obanai was and will always be Kyojuros brother, but he is much more an actual son of the Rengokus now than before.
