Kiyria couldn't get in contact with Giyuus family in time before he turned 25, but he did by time he would have been 27. He spent a lot of time trying to explain to them that their son wasn't crazy, that Kiyria himself wasnt crazy, and that their son was a hero. Unfortunately, one who didn't survive. Giyuus parents never did listen, they never did believe him. And they never did believe Kiyria
Kiyria also got into contact with Kanrojis parents many years after. He wanted to create a small memorial, something etched in stone to rember those who had changed history forever. He wanted permission to do so, and of course it was granted. Despite not asking for it, he was given a hair pin of hers. It could be used in the memorial if wanted or not. Kiyria kept it. He kept it on his nightstand. Kanroji was very much part of the reason he was able to grow old. And he had fond memories of chatting with his sisters about the pretty pink lady. Eventually it did make its way into the memorial. It was cemented into it when it was created. A few other people had things cemented. Like Kyojuros suba. After so many different people had it, Tanjiro decided he wanted it to rest in the original owners memory. And Kiyria made sure it did.
