Two days later, it was a breezy Saturday morning when George rolled over to see Lee already awake at 6:30 in the morning when classes started at 9.

He was standing in front of the mirror, pulling on a loose, grey tee shirt over a pair of athletic shorts. George squinted, pushing himself up onto his elbow.

"Oi," he whispered, "you're already up?"

Lee turned. He cracked a smile at the sight of a bedheaded George, yawning at him fully up and dressed.

"I'm off on a warmup before class," he said.

"Warmup?"

Lee twisted around, putting his hands on his hips as he looked at George. "These new muscles didn't come from sitting around the whole break."

George scoffed. "Calm down. You still have a long way to go."

"Piss off," Lee whispered back, fiddling with his hair in the mirror. "Pretty boy toned up over the summer. I've got to keep with it."

He leaned down and laced up his sneakers, then looked at George again.

"You comin'?"

George's brows knitted. "Huh?"

"You're the fitness freak, aren't you?" Lee said. "Come on. Get up. We'll fit in a good workout before breakfast, trust me."

George scoffed in surprise. "Wait a minute– now you're the one who's asking me to work out?"

Lee grinned. "Get up."

"No way." George rolled over, shoving one arm under the pillow and readjusting. "Nuh-uh."

"Yes." Lee leaned down and grabbed his shoulder.

"No... don't make me..." George shook his head into the pillow.

The way his voice was muffled made Lee stifle a laugh. "This is what you live for!"

"Right now, I live for sleep."

"Come on!" Lee whispered. "It'll feel good, I promise! Start your day off right."

George twisted onto his side, peeking at Lee again. "Who are you?"

Lee grinned. George groaned, then sighed, then groaned again, then pulled himself out of bed. "I hate you."

"You love me."

"I've made a monster," George sighed, pulling his shirt off.

They were outside on the Quidditch pitch within fifteen minutes, the cool, morning breeze ruffling through their hair as they stood at the edge of the grass.

"So, you've been coming down here every morning?" George asked in disbelief.

"Dear god, no," Lee replied. "Just a couple of times a week to keep some sort of routine. It's always quiet and empty down here..."

"At 6:30 am, sure," George said.

Lee chuckled.

"Alright," George sighed, stretching his arms back, "if you're making me do this, we're starting it off my way."

Lee looked at him. "What do you mean?"

George smirked.

He did not allow Lee to cut down the number of laps they did. In fact, he made them finish at least five around the entire field, the entire field, which was a full Quidditch pitch. Lee was not exactly... happy.
