Jeongkook stopped the car in front of the Park's mansion. Chaeyoung was hesitating to get out of the car, it was comforting to be in his presence, something between a feeling of being home and the warmth that comes with the sunrise. She was debating what to say before leaving.

"Don't risk going out alone like this without protection when the killers are after you, the next time you want to talk, call me...", she managed to say as she unbuckled her seat belt.

Of course, he could have called her, but why when seeing her it's more pleasant?

"Who said I was alone, Mingyu is watching over me... don't worry", he said and winked at her, here he is the Jeongkook she first met. She almost cracked a smile but then she saw her bodyguards walking to the car as the big gate was opening.

"You should leave before you get into trouble..."

He chuckled, "Trouble? Technically, I am the future King, what can they do to me?", he asked cocking an eyebrow, his lips in a smug smile.

"I didn't mean my guards... but my father...", his head automatically turned from her to see her father walking toward them, heavy steps face firm as a brick. He gulped hard, with no trace of a smile on his face. Now he knows from whom Chaeyoung got her stern and cold look.

This did not go unnoticed by Chaeyoung, she suppressed a smile. Chaeyoung got out of the car and went out to meet her father, she hoped that Jeongkook would have time to leave.

"Father!", Jeongkook's bright and welcoming voice rang stopping Chaeyoung in her tracks.

She watched as he walked over to her father and hugged him. Her father was baffled.

"Ah, we haven't met in a long time... I brought Chaeyoung safely back! Don't worry we had a great time! By the way, I already told her about the wedding!", he continued to ramble, everything was happening so fast that her father didn't have time for a reaction.

He stopped processing the reality when Jeongkook hugged and called him - father. "What the hell is wrong with this guy?", was the only question in his mind.

"Well, it's time for me to go! I'll visit you, Father! Rest well!", he hugged him one more time and walked to his car, "Good night Chaengie, rest well too!", he kissed goodbye her cheek so naturally, sat in the car, and drove away.

Chaeyoung and her father remained glued to the ground, both trying to understand what just happened.

Meanwhile, Jeongkook stopped his car after he passed a few streets. He leaned into his seat and put his hand on his heart which was beating excessively.

"That was scary! Never going to do that again!"

Mingyu who was watching him so he'll get back safe was shocked too.

Ari smiled when she saw the photo of Jeongkook and a laughing Chaeyoung, which means her idea worked.

"The bunnies are safe and having fun." was written in the message sent by Mingyu. She asked him to take care of her son's safety and inform her about the happenings.

Ari was with Doyoung at a late dinner with presidents, leaders, and entrepreneurs, discussing the upcoming changes. It was boring as usual, but a queen should be a queen, and as always, she showed interest in whatever they were discussing, smiling here and there when all she wanted was to get home.

They were beading goodbye when a familiar person approached to greet them.

"Your Majesties...", he bowed respectfully, "Long time no see", it was a solid-looking man whose features reminded Doyoung of someone.

"Haejoon!", Ari recognized him first, "Doyoung, this is Jaehyun's brother...", She reminded her husband who took a long time to recognize him.

"Haejoon? Sorry, it's been years since we last time saw each other...", he excused his vague mind

"It's fine... You have to meet so many people each day, and of course, you can forget someone...",

"Where is Jaehyun? ", Ari asked as she looked around searching for him

It took him some time to respond, hesitating, and choosing the right words, "He is not here...", he saw that Ari looked disappointed with his answer, "I just got to be here for a work matter. I saw you and dared to approach... Jaehyun stayed there, he couldn't come",

"That's unfortunate, we didn't hear about you two since our college days... You two left without a contact...", Ari said sadly, she was always caring and looking up to her friends, and to Haejoon it looked like she stayed the same. As for Doyoung, he had a poker face, you couldn't say if he is interested in this conversation or if he is patient for Ari's sake.

"Well you two were busy preparing for the wedding and Jaehyun was a little sick at that time, and me being his older brother had to take care of him..."

Ari remembers those college years. Remembers her friend Jaehyun with whom she was in the same course and his older brother who was sending him and then picking him up after classes.
And of course how she met Doyoung and later they all become friends.

It was such a buzz when the prince got into their University. But even though he was royal, Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Ari got along fast, spending their time together until the two of them fall in love.

By the end of their college days, Jaehyun was seen rarely, he was always missing, then she found out from his brother that he is ill. And since she was engaged she was no longer allowed to leave the palace, obliged to focus on learning the rules of conduct, she didn't get to say goodbye when they left.

"How is he now? "

"Jaehyun is good now..." As if knowing what was on her mind he continued, "I'll tell him about you, and that you miss him, be sure that he didn't forget about you either, never...", she smiled, at least he still remembers her

Haejoon waited for Doyoung to say something too, but it looked like he had nothing to add.

"Thank you for your time, your Highness", he was ready to leave

"Haejoon, you two are always welcome in the Palace", it was Doyoung words that stopped him. Haejoon bowed his head in gratefulness, turned, and left with a satisfying smile on his face.
