Mir glanced over at Liyah, seeing her look at the window the whole ride. She knows she's never to see them again after what happened. "What's wrong?" Mirah asked stopping at the light.
She turned her way remaining quiet, shrugging her shoulders. "Mir, what happens if they try to take me away from you?" Her voice cracked as she spoke lowly.
"They won't. If they attempt this whole will be flipped all the way around." Almirah scoffed thinking how she would go into a spiral. Mirah already had someone taken away from her by something couldn't control and she couldn't let it happen again.
"I know... I'm just s-scared." She broke down crying in her lap. "Liyah..." She called out her name as she reached over turning down her music.
"Aliyah." She rubbed her back with the hand that wasn't on the steering wheel. "Hm?" She hummed wiping her face.
"When you with me nothing will happen okay." She slightly smiled looking ahead as she drove. Mir removed her hand from Aliyah's back seeing her sit up.
