"Alright, it's on... I think?"
"What is it?"
"I think it's a communication device."
"Who would we communicate with?"
"Someone who can help us."
Alex exhaled, looking off into the sea ahead of him. He was sat on the huge wave figurehead, swinging his legs over the water. "Hey Captain! Mew! How long till we get there again?" Kira whined, floating up to lie in the air next to him. Raising his eyebrow, Alex turned his head, "Honestly, I have no idea." Kira huffed, landing back on the ship deck, "I'm too excited mew! I wanna take them all down now!"
Tyler laughed, shaking his head, "Kira, Lucas said it'd be a few days, we've only been at sea for an hour," he said, letting go of the wheel now they were on course, "you look tired, why don't you go get some sleep?" Kira yawned, stretching her arms above her head and nodding, "Mkay then, mew. Goodnight guys!" She waved at the two, before running down the steps and into the cabins below. Walking over to Alex, Tyler turned and leant backwards on the barrier beside the other, "Do you have a plan yet?" he asked, looking up at the huge flags that were flowing in the wind. "A plan?" Alex spun his body around, crossing his legs. "Yes, a plan, we can't take The Crystal Tide too close to the island. And even then, do we go straight for The Seers, or do we explore? Alex there is so much against us, going in there without a plan could kill us."
Humming, Alex nodded, jumping from the figurehead and landing on the deck. "You're not wrong," he responded, crossing his arms, "let's not go too close to the island, I'll take a look around the ship for something we can use instead." Tyler nodded, sighing contently, "In that case, I'll be heading to bed, we're on course, so wake me up only in an emergency."
With that, Tyler also left into the cabins, leaving Alex to explore the ship. They'd already had her for a while, yet nobody had really taken the time to look around, or sift through the equipment that had been so lovingly donated by the people of The Forge. Opening a trapdoor, Alex climbed down the ladder, lighting a candle as he looked around. Moonlight poured through the small windows, gently illuminating scratch marks that covered the walls. "What on earth...?" Alex muttered, running his fingers along the scratches, they hadn't had the boat long enough for this damage to be done. He started to make out lettering, moving the candle closer to the wall as he read the notes written there.
'Good luck pirates!' 'Thank you for saving us!' 'Please accept our notes as fortune!' 'Thank you, please bring her home safely.' Alex's eyes widened as a small smile trickled onto his face. These notes, words of blessings, carved into the walls of his ship by the people he had saved. "Thank you everyone." He whispered. Continuing to look around the room, his eyes fell on a rowboat near the windows, it looked a lot like The Crystal Tide, but smaller. "Bingo."
Three days seemed to fly by, the group taking time to prepare, as well as relax. Thoughts raced in Alex's mind as he gazed into the water, thinking back to what Charlie had said. "You'll have to be careful, these guys are almost like gods, and you don't have a Fliddy yet Alex." Yet. Did Charlie know something? Would he be able to finally unlock his Fliddy?
"Hey Alex, you still don't have your Fliddy yet right? I heard some of the other kids have already started getting them!" A young, green haired boy said enthusiastically. Alex gasped, clutching onto the bars in between them as excitement filled his eyes, "Really? I hope I get mine soon!" Alex gasped. The green-haired boy nodded eagerly, "What kind do you want? I think it'd be cool for a physical one." Alex shook his head, "Kai those ones are so boring! Practically everybody has a Physical Fliddy... Me? I want a Summoners Fliddy! Then you get a pocket dimension!" Kai rolled his eyes, "Those aren't even real!" he said, before his voice became hushed and he leaned closer. "I heard that The Princess has the other one... Cynthia says she's seen it before..." Alex's eyes widened, "No way... Cynthia has met The Princess?"
