Pulling away from Tyler's grip, Kira ran over to Alex, crouching beside him and pressing her fingers against his neck. "Please... Alex... please..." she sniffed, tears clouding her vision as she felt for a pulse. She paused, squeezing her eyes tightly to concentrate. "No... No... NO!" a choked sob erupted from her throat as she shuffled backwards. Tyler watched in disbelief, as Kira turned to look towards them all, before shaking her head, tears staining her cheeks. "He's gone..." She whispered.

In a flash, Bari shot forward, swinging his staff at Mari, who blocked with ease, electrifying the area around them. Tyler ran towards Kira, scooping her up and pulling her away from Alex's limp body. "No! Tyler! Let me go! Mew!" She squealed, kicking and punching at Tyler's arms, tears still flowing down her cheeks. "Kira! You'll get killed if you stay there! Do you see that?" He said, showing her the spluttering and crackling of the electric ground below them.

However, all Kira could do was watch was Alex's lifeless body, his eyes hanging half open as blood trickled out of his mouth. Tyler sighed, grabbing her hands and looking into her eyes. "I know. I get it. But right now aint the time to mourn, I promise... afterwards..." Kira nodded, her bottom lip quivering as she sniffed, before looking over at the two Seers engaged in combat.

Bari had pinned Mari against the fence, surrounding them both in a cloak of darkness. He gripped her neck as she swung at him with her stick. He dodged, knocking her feet out from under her. Mari fell down onto her knees, before flipping over and kicking Bari in his eye. "Mari! You must see the truth!" He called out, as she dug her toe further into the light in the centre of his head. "Brother. Mother has taken care of these people for 20 years, she loves them!"

Growling, Bari kicked at Mari again, before grabbing her and throwing her up into the sky and following quickly. The two were now up in the air, both floating to look at each other in silence, neither making the next move. "Bari, do you remember what father always said? He said-"

"Take care of humans, and they will take care of you..." Bari finished the sentence, before Mari lunged at him. Thudding together, the staffs acted as the only layer of defence for both Seers, as they clashed together constantly. "So why do you not want to take care of the humans anymore Bari!?" Mari yelled, as lightning cracked through Bari's dark mist, splitting it in half. "I may be surrounded by dark fog, but you're the one who's blind Mari!" Bari yelled, before lightning split the sky in half, landing directly in his chest. Being thrown backwards, the front of his face cracked as he fell through the air, down to the ground.

"Alex... Alex wake up. I have some news!" Cynthia said, as she was thrown into her cell. Alex grumbled, rubbing his eyes and sitting up. "Hm? What is it Cynth?" he asked, shuffling over to the wall of the cell, pressing his face and hands against the cold bars. "You and I... we're being moved to Nereus to continue our training! Since we haven't unlocked our Fliddies yet, we have to train extra hard in our sword skills." Alex's eyes widened, before he turned to look into Kai's empty cell. "Wait... but... What about-" he began, and Cynthia nodded. "Kai isn't coming, but... at least we'll have each other."

Alex nodded, reaching up to his face and wiping his nose. Kai was soon brought back to his cell, and the three started playing games and painting on the stone again. Over time, the walls began melting away, revealing stains of blood, as Alex watched his hands grow calloused and rough. Screams echoing in his ears, Alex huddled in the corner of his cell, clutching an older Kai's hands through the bars. "Kai..." Alex whispered, "What... what are they gonna do to her...?" Kai bit his lip, shaking his head, "I... don't know... I've never seen that man before..." Alex nodded, trying to hold back the tears brimming in his eyes. Looking over at the wall decorated in faded paint, he couldn't help but let the tears fall. Cynthia's screams continued to echo through the stone halls, filling the cells with dread.
