Karikalan was very happy reading the script, and Nandhini on the other hand was stressed. She has heard about the Young princess of the Chola Empire, Kundavai.

Rumours told that she was the mastermind of the Chola empire. Even though she was married, every important matter was discussed with her before implying it.

Nandini felt that she could destroy all her plans, Nandhini was thinking all these standing on the balcony looking at the moon.

Karikalan entered the chamber but couldn't find Nandhini anywhere, the strong wind blew the curtain, and he got a glimpse of a woman's silhouette in the balcony. He immediately knew that it was Nandhini.

He separated the curtains and slowly walked to her, he saw her glancing at the sky.

Karikalan looked at her for a minute and then opened his mouth, " The moon looks beautiful right?". Nandhini quickly turned her head towards him and nodded.

"Why are you standing here karikalare, go and sleep" told Nandhini looking at the moon. Karikalan saw a lining of hesitation on Nandhini's face. " What happen Nandhini?" Asked Karikalan keeping a hand on her shoulder.

" Just thinking about your sister" replied Nandhini with a small shrug.
" What about my sister," asked Karikalan as she turned Nandhini in his direction.

" What if she hates me like your father does?," asked Nandhini looking down. Karikalan smiled a bit and told. " Is this is what bothering you?" Asked Karikalan. Nandhini nodded.

" Nandhini, Nobody hates you, you are just new to them, it takes time to adjust with new people right?" Asked Karikalan. Nandhini nodded.

" So it will take them a little time to accept you, but once when they do they won't be able to be with seeing you for a day. " Continued Karikalan.

Nandhini chuckled at his words. " So, let's go to sleep?" Asked Karikalan. Nandhini nodded and went to sleep on the opposite side of the bed facing Karikalan.

The Next morning,
Thanjavur palace,

Everyone in the city woke up early, they were excited to welcome their princess to Thanjavur. Urvashi on the other side was sleeping with her mouth open and snoring.

Nandhini had already bathed and gotten ready, and Karikalan had just woken up by Nandhini.

He saw Nandhini sitting in front of the mirror wearing her earrings. He saw that her hair was tied up in an Andal bun as usual, she had worn a red saree.

Karikalan kept looking at her. " Go and get ready," told Nandhini still wearing her earrings. Karikalan quickly got up and took his bathing robe and went out of the chamber.

After a few hours,

Everyone has had their breakfast ,And were waiting for Iliya Pirati's arrival.

The movement they were waiting for, came soon. Urvashi in the palace continued to sleep. Nobody bothered her,as she was very tired.

The people and the soldiers were aligned facing each with a way in between them. The drums rolled, and the trumpets blew.

The sound of trumpets and drums alerted the people inside the palace indicating that the princess has arrived.

Nandhini got up from where she was sitting and immediately went down to the entrance, karikalan was already standing there on the right side of the entrance with a smile on his face.

An elephant entered the front entrance of the palace followed by some soldiers.

Sitting upon it, the woman was none other than Kundavai. .

Karikalan gestured for Nandhini to go forward, Nandhini looked at him, then at Kundavai but didn't budge from her her place. Karikalan sighed.

Kundavai got down from the elephant, she took a few steps.

She stopped walking as she saw that the woman who was standing beside Karikalan who she guessed was Nandhini, hadn't gotten down the stairs to welcome her.

She looked beside her to see the prime minister, Anirudha Bhramarayar. She started to talk with him." What are the people of Thanjai talking about?" Asked kundavai, with a smile.

" How does the Chakravarthy's Thiru Kumari stay far away from her family?" Told Anirudhar. " And what did you say?" Asked Kundavai.

" Even if she is away, she is still close to everyone's heart so are they to her's. " Replied Anirudhar. Kundavai just smiled at him.

Nandini rises her eyebrows , understanding what she was doing. She sighed and walked forward. Kundavai too saw Nandhini walking forward and started going forward.

They both met each other face to face in the mid-space of the stairs. Nandini got the Arthi platter. " Welcome princess, your arrival has made Thanjai palace to look more beautiful." Told Nandhini.

" I had heard that they have gathered all the beauty in Tanjore palace and kept it safely. "Commented Kundavai.

Nandhini smirked lightly and replied, " Yes, They have gathered it and kept it in a prison."

" Prison?" Asked kundavai as she looked at her smiling brother and continued as Nandhini showered her with flowers, " I thought that they have kept it in a big golden throne."

" Yes, it is made of gold but I hate it " replied Nandhini as she kept a tilak on her forehead.

" Even if we like it or not, its Respect remains high," told Kundavai.

" A handcuff is still a handcuff even if it is made of gold." Replied Nandhini as she passed the platter to a maid.

"But we have the key in our hands," told Kundavai. Nandhini's lips formed a big smirk.

" Can you win the princess with words ?" Asked Nandhini, "Come in," welcomed Nandhini.

Just as she finished it, a small boy came shouting " Amma!".

Kundavai bent down and lifted the boy. " Your son ?" Asked Nandhini. Kundavai nodded. " What is your name?" Asked Nandhini to the child. The boy looked at his mother, and Kundavai gestured for him to tell.

" Vallavan," told the boy hiding his face in Kundavai's neck. Nandhini smiled and moved a little to let Kundavai go inside.

As Kundavai went to the door, Adhita Karikalan took his nephew from her arms, " Ah, my little Vallavan, missed your uncle?" Asked Karikalan as he kissed his cheek.

The child called Karikalan" Mama!" And kissed him on the cheek in return.

"Vallava, stay with you mama, I will go and meet your grandfather . " told Kundavai, Vallavan nodded.

Kundavai walked to her father's chamber's verandah. Sundara Cholar welcomed his daughter with a hug.

" Appa, I heard that the Senadhipathi is dead?" Started Kundavai as she helped her father sit on the bench. " Yes, magale," answered Sundar Cholar.

" Who is behind this?" Asked Kundavai, " Pandiyan Navathodhavigal" replied Sundar Cholar with a sigh.

" How did they enter?" Asked Kundavai. " Only the one who helped knows" replied Sundar Cholar.

" Who do you think it could be ?" Asked Kundavai. " It could be the Pandiyan Princess," told Sundar Cholar as her face flashed in his mind.
