Some points I want to make before we start...
The theme of this story is based on and inspired by several works I've read here on Wattpad and on AO3. While the words are my own, this isn't entirely an original idea. You've probably read something similar to this already.
This is a non-traditional Alpha/Omega story and is set on modern times. There are only alphas and omegas; they do not shift, they do not "mate", and they do not have scents nor release pheromones. There are no ruts and heats either.
There will be several original characters but their sub-genders are irrelevant, hence, it won't be mentioned.
I'm not sure if this fits a dystopian world but it probably falls under it.
The alphas here aren't nice. It's just how their world works. There will be character development but I'm not gearing towards a major change in their society. Let's just accept that it is what it is.
I will try to explain how their world works as we move along the story but if some details do not fit in the narration but needs to be said, I'll write them as part of the "Author's Note".
This is quite different from my past works, a bit dark, if that makes sense.
This is not beta read so please bear with me.
And lastly, this is tagged as Mature and contains non-consensual spanking. If that's something that bothers you, then this book may not be for you.
