Chapter 11
Jimin's been pacing inside his room near the door ever since dinner ended. The alphas did not even have desserts as Alpha Min insisted that he had some urgent things he needed to discuss with his son, making Jimin's stomach lurch as he's convinced that the topic of conversation would be him.
Once they left the dining table, Jimin finally found his voice and profusely apologized to his mother-in-law for being rude and for offending her.
Thankfully, Omega Min assured the young omega that she wasn't offended by his actions and even apologized for not asking about his food preferences and assumed he'd eat anything that was served. She tried to ease the tension by telling childhood stories about Yoongi while they ate cake. On any other occasion, Jimin might enjoy the conversation and even ask lots of questions to get to know his husband better but unfortunately, his mind was on his alpha and the scolding Yoongi was getting from his father for not controlling his omega properly. At least that's the image Jimin's mind is painting.
When it was obvious that the young omega's mind was somewhere else, Iseul decided to call it a night and promised Jimin that they'd spend more time together and have some omega bonding activities before they go back to Daegu. Jimin gratefully accepted and bid his mother-in-law a good night.
And now back to the present.
Jimin kept opening his door every few minutes to check if Yoongi was on his way up. He didn't want to miss it when his husband called him for his punishment, which would definitely annoy Yoongi further. To be fair, the alpha didn't explicitly tell him he was getting punished after dinner but he didn't want to assume he's off the hook even after Yoongi assured him it was okay. Especially after seeing Dohyun express his discontent with him.
Finally, he heard voices and he quickly opened his door again for just a fraction and spied on his husband and father-in-law. Once Yoongi was alone, Jimin fully opened his door.
