Chapter 25

Hi all!

Apologies for the delay.

I had a hard time finishing this chapter so I started another one but then I also couldn't finish that one so I went back to this one and then back to the other one again. For a time, I was writing two chapters at the same time and both weren't going anywhere. I contemplated on just scrapping them and has already started a set of new chapters (in my mind lol) with a totally different scenario but I didn't want to waste the things I've already written, so I went back to this and see how I can still use it and this is what I came up with.

This chapter was just supposed to be a cute chapter filler but my fingers had a mind of its own and it took to a totally different turn. And now the two paragraphs that I originally couldn't finish is now divided into two parts because it was getting too long already. Lol.

Chapter 25

"So, holding hands is now your thing aside from the regular cuddles?", Seokjin asked a blushing Jimin who bashfully nodded.

"It was so sweet, hyung. He held my hand all throughout the car ride and then inside the mall when we were passing time while waiting for our dinner reservation. My heart was pounding the whole time and my stomach was doing flip flops. Is this how you felt when you and Namjoon alpha got married?", the younger omega asked, feeling giddy while updating his friend on his marriage. The two are on a video call as the older is currently in his hometown, visiting his family.

"Hmmm... not initially. Although, my breath hitched when I first laid my eyes on him. He's so handsome, you know. Tall, muscular, tanned skin, gorgeous eyes... the dimples were an excellent bonus.", Seokjin smiled as he blissfully recalled his first meeting with Namjoon. "But we did have time to get to know each other before we got married, unlike you. We were friends by the time we got married, so the romance came naturally soon after."

"Uhm, how about your first kiss, hyung? How did it happen? Did you do it on your wedding day?", Jimin asked in a whisper, wide-eyed, looking behind to make sure no one else was around. He's inside his room and Yoongi does not enter without knocking and is given permission to do so but you never know...

The older omega giggled.

"We had our first kiss after our third date. It was very awkward since we both didn't know what we were doing. We had a lot of practice after that and by our wedding day, we were already comfortable enough to kiss in front of our family and friends.", Jin candidly shared. "Why? Are you hoping to finally have your first kiss soon?".

Jimin didn't have to answer, his blush giving away the obvious answer, making Seokjin squeal in delight.

"Aaaayyyyyieeeeeee! Look at you! A blushing mess! My baby is grown up already!', Seokjin exclaimed pretending to wipe away invisible tears.

"Hyuuuuung...", the young omega whined in embarrassment, covering his face. "Not so loud! Namjoon alpha might hear. If he does, I won't be able to look at him in the eye the next time we see each other. This is embarrassing."

"Oh, hush. He's not here. He's out with my father and brothers. They're supposedly alpha bonding but knowing my family, they're just trying to ask him for some money without asking for it directly.", the handsome omega shared while rolling his eyes.

Their parent's bakery is thriving and all of his brothers already have their own family and stable jobs but they're nowhere near Namjoon's and Seokjin's financial status, a constant source of bitter jealousy to his family. They couldn't believe their only omega who didn't even went to college has a more successful business than them. To make themselves feel better, the alphas in the family attributes Seokjin's success to Namjoon, his alpha who provided the financial support instead of recognizing his talent and passion for baking. Really, they should be proud of their omega, especially since Seokjin learned everything that he knows by working in the family bakery while waiting for his match. And they could be asking him for the money because he has his own and he wouldn't deny them but alas, their alpha pride gets in the way and wouldn't admit they need an omega's help. So, they'd rather kiss Namjoon's ass and make a fool of themselves instead of just telling Seokjin what they need. They're all clowns, if you ask Seokjin but it's not as if they'd change their ways if he talks to them so he just lets them be and just waits for his husband's funny stories about his father and brothers when they get home.
