It's finally 2024, the year Jin and jhope will be out of the military. Woot! Woot!

I hope you guys had a safe and wonderful celebration. This 2024, may we all be blessed with happiness, peace of mind, good health and tickets to Jin's and Hobi's solo concerts later this year. Let us all claim it! Fighting, ARMYs!

Anyway, here is the next chapter. For this one, we take a peek at Seokjin's and Namjoon's domestic life.

Chapter 21

"It's nice to see you again in person and not just through my phone. I missed you, my chickie. How's life as Min Yoongi's omega treating you so far?", Seokjin asked as he wiped the surface of his countertop. The omega friends are currently at the Kim's apartment baking muffins. They just placed the first batch inside the oven and are now having a chit-chat while they wait for it to bake.

After a couple of weeks of staying at home while Yoongi dealt with the press and the paparazzi, the excitement and curiosity surrounding Jimin's existence eventually died down. At least, that's what it seems at the present. So, the omega was finally allowed out of the house and has continued his baking lessons with Seokjin. This time, however, they decided to meet at the older omega's apartment so that they can talk freely and avoid unwanted attention just to be safe. Jimin's just glad that Namjoon was out working that day. He's met the alpha many times over the years he's known Seokjin but has only exchanged a handful of awkward sentences with him. To this day, he still feels uncomfortable around the alpha no matter how polite the alpha treats him.

"Hyung! You make it sound like being Yoongi alpha's omega is such a bad thing!", Jimin scrunched his nose, not liking the older's tone. "My husband is treating me well and life is just well ... life. People sucks!"

"Wow! That was so profound. I totally understand your point.", Seokjin let out his famous windshield wiper laugh (the one only allowed to be let out in the privacy of their own home) upon seeing Jimin's mighty pout.

"Awww... please don't sulk, chickie. I'm sorry you had to be a prisoner for a while. I'm glad your alpha was able to sort everything out.", the older omega reached out to hold Jimin's hand and gently caressed them. However, the younger one continued to pout.

"Thank you, hyung. I think Alpha and his publicist had to threaten a lot of people just so they would stop camping outside the mansion. Lee's now my personal driver and bodyguard. I actually heard my husband tell one of his friends that he feels stupid that he didn't think of hiring security for me when we got married. He thought that since the public didn't know about me nobody would bother me but then that stupid article got published. I hate how those people made him feel inadequate when he's been a good husband to me all this time.", the younger omega shared.

Yoongi really did everything in his power to have the article taken down immediately, including reposts by other blogs and netizens, and to drive all the paparazzi away. He also took the time to talk and apologize to Jimin's parents for not having the foresight to provide Jimin with his own security. It's not that he thinks that Jimin is truly in danger by being married to him but if Jimin had a bodyguard with him at all times from the beginning, then people will think twice before breaching his personal space and his security would have intercepted an attempt, if any, hence, avoiding the whole tabloid brouhaha. The alpha admitted that he never really planned on announcing to the public his marriage to the young omega and had hoped that by doing so, he and Jimin can continue living normal lives. Unfortunately, he didn't count on people breaking their NDAs for a substantial amount of money.
