Chapter 2: The First Rebirth

Y/n remained sitting on the table in this strange room that he was in, wondering just how he got here. The sound of a door opening interrupted his thoughts as Archaris came into view.

"My Lord, it seems you've woken up faster than normal Deathless would," Archaris knelt to the ground after putting a change of Y/n's school uniform on a nearby table from the one he was sitting on, "That is good because you have school today."

"Where am I," Y/n asked Archaris, standing up, yet getting support from the table.

"There was a secret Rebirth Chamber under your house, your "parents" must've put your QIP into the system after deleting theirs," Archaris looked up.

As Y/n put on his clothes, he remembered what happened last night, "What happened to Uris, does he have my rings?"

"Uris is fine, he managed to find me at your house after I discovered this Rebirth Chamber, I took off your rings and they are sitting in a box next to your clothes," Archaris answered.

Y/n opened the box and immediately put them on, calming down now. He tried to remember what he felt during that fight with the Titans, feeling adrenaline, rage, and...good.

"Those weapons I summoned, and what Uris called me last night," Y/n felt a strike to his mind, as if something was being forced into his memory, or being resurfaced.

There were two flashes, one of long silver hair and lavender eyes, and the other of a sword, not the one from last night, but it gave off a blue colored glow. Once the flashes went away he was breathing heavily.

"What did you see?" Archaris asked, physically supporting Y/n, "Please tell me."

"I saw a head of long silver hair, and lavender eyes," Y/n answered, "And a sword. I can't describe its look, but the memory tells me that...it was powerful."

"It must've been the Infinity Blade," Archaris acknowledged, having seen the Infinity Blade in battle with Ausar, "Uris really speaks the truth, you are Ausar, reborn as someone else."

"Are these memories really mine?" Y/n asked while looking at the Deathless, "Or are they just pieces of my past that I can't get rid of?"

"I would not try to get rid of them My Lord, only learn to control them and let them help bring your former strength back. Now if you are finished changing, you have school today, and I'm glad that your rebirth didn't take 20 hours like it usually did when you were Ausar," Archaris helped Y/n stand up and lead him up a flight of circular stairs.

Once the two were at the top, Archaris pushed the door open, revealing themselves in the hallway just in front of Y/n's room. Uris and Axik-1 were in the living room, with relief washing over Uris as he was worried that Y/n didn't have a Rebirth Chamber with his QIP in the world. Uris finally gave the full report of the events from last night to Archaris, who only shook his head, not knowing who would have sent Titans to kill Y/n without knowing what he was.

"As far as I'm concerned, she was willing to kill a human walking alongside a Titan," Y/n spoke his thoughts, referring to this Mistress character, "This could risk war between her and the Supernatural, yet she is playing her cards carefully."

"Correct, and now that the three she sent are dead, and their weapons and armor stripped and given to your army, we can prepare for another assault," Uris nodded.

"I think it would be wise to head to the Dark Citadel," Archaris announced, "It was left to Y/n after the God King went into hiding."

"Wait, who is this God King," Y/n asked, getting a sense of familiarity from that title.
