Chapter 12: Rising Threats

Morning arrived in Japan, and Y/n was one of the few that woke up early. He was currently in the kitchen cooking breakfast for his wife and child, who were both still sleeping.

He had a good feeling now that something interesting has happened, the Excaliburs are in Japan. Which ones, he didn't know, but he was going to find out one way or another. As he cooked, he thought about the last time he encountered the Excalibur, but it was a complete sword at the time. Ever since he won that duel against the Church, he's known that it was broken into 7 fragments, and the Church held on to them for safe keeping.

"Well isn't this the sight I wondered if I would see again," Yasaka's voice was suddenly heard from the kitchen door.

Y/n only smirked, "Careful, if you recall, Kunou was conceived right after I finished cooking.

"Who says I didn't want another child? Kunou has been wanting another sibling to play with," Yasaka smiled.

"Perhaps when the time isn't as dangerous," Y/n smiled as he felt her arms snake around his waist, feeling her breasts squished against his back and her head rest upon it, "The Excalibur Fragments are in Japan, and I don't want to bring life into a dangerous time."

"Oh alright, I'll restrain myself for now, but I hope you'll make up for it," she booped him on the nose after letting him go.

The two of them heard a smaller pair of footsteps approaching, with Y/n knowing his daughter must've been woken up by the smell of breakfast.

"Good morning kit," Y/n called out.

"Good..." Kunou let out a yawn, "Good morning."

Once Yasaka and Kunou sat at the table, Y/n finished cooking and brought it all out, serving his family first before getting his share. Once he sat down, his clothes seemed to change to his Kuoh Academy uniform.

"Oh, you're going to school today," Yasaka asked.

Y/n nodded and swallowed what was in his mouth, "The strongest Holy Swords are back, and I am going to test their wielders, find out why they are here if they come to the school."

"Very well, so you'll be going for a few days then," Yasaka guessed.

"Correct, I don't want you in danger of these weapons if I can't help it," Y/n gently held Yasaka's shoulder, "So I will find out why they are here, and I'll send an emissary to the Vatican with the Fragments."

"It will keep your family out of danger then," Yasaka nodded, "Good. Have fun then."

Y/n gave her a kind smile, "Thank you. Kunou, listen to your mother while I'm gone. Alright?"

"Of course father," Kunou nodded, watching Y/n stand up and pull out his phone. He nodded and equipped one of his vambraces, letting him tap in where he wanted to teleport and disappeared.

He reappeared in his house in Kuoh, where he could hear Rias in the shower. Shrugging his shoulders, he stepped into his bedroom, only to stop when he felt the power of the Excaliburs close, meaning they were somewhere in Kuoh Academy, meaning Kyoto was safe for now, but what set him off more, was that there were two more outside Kuoh.

"So, someone has 3 of the 7, and two more are coming," Y/n said aloud, with a smile forming, "I'll have plenty to test myself."

Y/n didn't notice Rias had exited the bathroom in the middle of his thought, "Test what?"

Y/n turned to see Rias with a towel around her hair, and smiled, "Nothing right now. But just to be safe, no contracts until I say."

Rias was confused, but nodded her head, "Alright. But what about Sona?'
