Chapter 10: A Duel of Deathless

The Rating Game between Rias and Riser had concluded in a victory for the latter of the two devils. Rias was forced to continue with the arranged marriage, and has been brought to the Underworld so she wouldn't have a chance in escaping. A few days passed after the Rating Game had concluded, and she was in the worst mood of her life, wanting nothing more than for Y/n to march into the Phenex household and saver her. But that didn't come.

The day of the Engagement Party came, and she was getting in a dress for the party, looking at it in a mirror.

"This is and Engagement Party, so why the hell am I wearing a wedding dress," Rias asked out loud, and to no one in particular.

A voice answered her, one that she never wanted to hear, "Because Riser wanted this."

He teleported into the room and walked ever so smugly towards Rias. One of the maids stepped forward, "My Lord, you shouldn't be in here!"

"Riser will only be here for a moment," Riser held his hand up to stop the maid, "My, you look beautiful, my dear."

"What the hell do you want Riser," Rias asked coldly.

He stopped right in front of her, and held his arms out, "Riser is only making sure that all preparations are going as planned. The guests will be arriving soon, even Lord Ausar was invited and will make an appearance there."

Rias held back a smirk, knowing just what was going to happen soon, "So the True Deathless is going to be here. How do you think he will act when he meets the monster who killed his messenger?"

"Oh please, Riser means no offense to him, but he was a fool for getting a human involved in Devil affairs," Riser scoffed, "But he has a busy schedule, and Riser is just honored to know that he'll be here to see this glorious day and you in your beautiful dress. Besides, if he does come to the wedding, then he'll see you in a dress made of phoenix feathers, fitting for a bride of the House Phenex."

With that, Riser teleported out of the room, where Rias was disgusted with the wedding dress that he planned for Rias, "I'd rather drink Holy Water."

She then thought about Y/n and how happy she was that he would be there to save her. It left her just wanting to be at the party so she could see him much sooner. He was the one that not only promised to save her, but to protect her for as long as he lived. She couldn't think of anyone else that she would spend her eternity with.

In a large ballroom of the Phenex Mansion, many Pure-Blooded Devils were seen in extravagant dresses and suits, excited to see this union between Gremory and Phenex. Rias' Peerage, minus Issei and Asia, were present at this ceremony, and were listening to Ravel Phenex boasting about her big brother's obvious victory over Rias. However, the doors of the ballroom opened, with many guests looking over and immediately kneeling to the one who had just arrived.

"My apologies for being a little late," a familiar voice echoed throughout the room, "But there was a matter that I had to attend before coming. Please, continue with what you all were doing."

Akeno looked over, and saw Y/n wearing his full Vile Armor set, with the helmet on his head, as the shield on his arm, and Vile Blade on his back. The rest of the Peerage looked over and saw Y/n standing tall with two off his guests, one in full armor and helmet with a sword and shield on his back, and the second was a blonde woman that could only be Yasaka from what Y/n had told them about her. They walked around the room, greeting Pure Blooded Devils until they arrived where Akeno, Kiba, and Koneko were all standing.

"Akeno, Kiba, Koneko, how are you feeling," Y/n greeted.

Koneko was the first to answer, "As well as you can expect before you showed up."
