Y/n arrived in Kyoto after taking a train there, unsure of where to start looking for his investigation. He looked around, seeing the people walking around in peace, just continuing their day without a care in the world.

"It's peaceful, and welcoming," Y/n observed, "And familiar. Most importantly familiar."

Y/n decided to let his feelings take him where to go, and look around as he did. A lot of the people seemed friendly as he walked by, as if by instinct and greeting certain places. Soon enough, he came upon what seemed to be a tunnel of orange red arches, the Fushimi-Inari Taisha Shrine.

"I may as well go up and pay my respects to the shrine," Y/n smiled, and started walking the 4 km journey through the many arches

"I may as well go up and pay my respects to the shrine," Y/n smiled, and started walking the 4 km journey through the many arches.

As he walked through them, he could only feel a sense of happiness from the passing fox statues. Memories of a woman's voice coursed in his mind.

"It's even walks such as these that can calm the mind, and in the end, even your most heartfelt wishes may come true," a woman's voice echoed.

"Even heal a heart that was once full of hate and sorrow?" a mature version of Y/n's voice asked, "Can a wish after passing under all of these arches grant that?"

"Only if you truly wish for a life such as that," the woman's voice echoed.

Y/n continued to walk, hearing the voice of this woman echo, with different things to say.

"I hope this one will bring us a never ending future," the woman said in a hopeful yet excited voice, "I just know that it will be full of joy."

Once Y/n walked through the last arch, he could hear the wail of a baby. Looking around, he saw a young couple with a child in the arms of its mother. Y/n looked around, seeing a few priests in masks walking around and tending to the shrine. Y/n found a sense of familiarity watching them work, and finding that Ausar must've spent some time here.

Y/n continued his way past the shrine, and down a separate path that he felt familiar. As he walked it, he could see signs of battle in his surroundings. Disturbed dirt, cut bamboo, and they still seemed fresh, too fresh. He could feel a presence behind him and smiled.

"If you planned to ambush me, then you should learn to stalk someone better," Y/n called out, "Or get better stealth."

From in front of him, a large person landed with a thud, carrying a large weapon in his right hand, a titan, giant class. From the armor and weapon that he carried, Y/n could easily tell that he was Saydhi's Champion, Genno.
