Once I heard the bell ring indicating first period had started I sighed in defeat. Hana wasn't here today. Usually she's here before I arrive and I was just hoping that maybe she was late and she'd be coming in only seconds before class started. But I was wrong, and now Im sitting alone at my table since its now back to just Hana and I ever since Seeun left.

Sunoo, who was my only other friend in this class was on the opposite corner of the room. This lesson was definitely going to be fun. Note the sarcasm.

After that agonizing hour and a half it was finally passing period. I walked to my locker, I never really used it as it took a long time to get there and unlock it. I had a textbook in my backpack that I needed for my last class and I didn't feel like carrying it around all day so I just decided to make use of it.

It took me a second to remember the lock combination before I turned it left and right a certain way and it unlocked. I pulled it open and unzipped my backpack taking out the heavy book and placing it in so it would fit.

"Seulie!" I heard from my right side, I turned and saw Jungwon speed walking to me.

"Hi" he said smiling, leaning against the locker next to mine.

"Hi?" I spoke a little confused at his appearance that came out of nowhere.

"I have a question for you." I felt sort of suspicious now, wondering what he's going to ask.

"Okay, what is it?" I asked furrowing my brows.

"Um, so you know Jay?" I laughed under my breath at his question as if I hadn't met jay before. As if we haven't all hung out at Niki's house.

"Yeah I think I know him." I made a fake thinking face.

"Ha ha" he deadpanned.

"Like I was saying," he scratched the nape of his neck pausing for a moment. "So his birthday is the week and he just told us like yesterday that his parents are throwing him this fancy party and... he said that we could bring a plus one." He said stammering, all the confidence he had previously speaking, left his body.

"And, I was uh wondering if you want to come as my plus one maybe? Only if you'd like to though, and if you're busy thats totally cool!" he added the last part quickly.

"Yeah, I want to go!" I said smiling at him.

His body visibly relaxed, "Really? Okay, I'll tell you more about it at lunch or something. Our next periods about to start and I don't want to make you late." He said waving, then turning around in the direction he came from.

I closed my locker and pulled out my phone to look at the time, and yup he was right. There was only two minutes left before I should be in my class. Thankfully my next class was in this building so it wouldn't take long to get there.

I sat at my desk staring mindlessly into the air, not paying attention to what my teacher was saying. She was explaining last nights homework to those who were having trouble or didn't do it. I already had it done so there was no point in me listening.

I thought back to the interaction I had with Jungwon, not even twenty minutes ago. It now just registered in my brain that he asked me to go with him to a party. I think the fact that it wasn't just a regular high school party but a fancy one at that made it seem better.

I'm not even going to lie, he looked adorable when he was asking me. Seeing him in a nervous and almost shy state was something I never really seen on him before. Without even knowing, I had a foolish smile on my face. Insides feeling bubbly in a happy way. But this time I knew the reason why.
