As soon as the CEO reached his home, he skipped over to his room in excitement to have first-ever trip with his wife. This was not a honeymoon, he thought of it as a 'pre-honeymoon trial'.
"Mrs. Malhotra? Your husband's home!" Daksh shrieked with continuous knocking on the door.
"Can't you keep it low?" His wife opened the door in a pink saree, her faint floral perfume hit his nose and he melted, "Your mom's inside, have some shame!" Her cute glare only made him more mischievous.
Daksh grabbed her by the waist immediately when she tried to walk away, "My mom also wants to play with little mes and yous, which won't be possible if I keep shying away from my wife," he muttered. Sanaya got goosebumps at the thought of making a family with him.
Though the thought had come to attention several times, it was still somewhat awkward for Sanaya because she couldn't let go of her past. Not with her parents, but with her husband. He was her classmate for god's sake but now she's thinking of making a family with him. However, she was sure that she cared for him as a person and had to let go of her fright because no one had ever, or would ever like her as much as Daksh does.
A small hint of uncertainty in her eyes was enough for Daksh to know that he must not hurry. Sanaya might not appear fragile from the outside (or in bed) but she's emotionally very wounded. And there was still a long way to go before thinking of dumping more responsibilities over her shoulders.
He pressed a small loving kiss over her lips and walked inside with a snicker.
"Mom, why are you in my room?" Daksh asked his caring mother who sat between a pile of clothes on the floor.
"Why not? My son never tells me what he's doing, where's he going. And now that he's going abroad without me for the first time, I have to make sure he has all his essentials right?" Sarika pouted folding Daksh's underwear and putting them in the suitcase.
Daksh's eyes widen, he leaped over bags and snatched his undergarments from his mom's hand. "Why are you doing this to me?!" he asked, embarrassed in front of his wife that his mother still helps him with his packing.
Sanaya held in her laugh as Sarika slapped Daksh's back, "Then what? You want your wife to take care of it?" she chuckled.
"Get out! Get out!" Daksh pleaded snatching away all his clothes from his mom. Sarika smirked looking at Sanaya then left the couple alone.
The husband's ears turned red, he refused to make eye contact with his wife and folded his clothes and put them nicely in his suitcase. "Why are you so shy? It's not like I haven't seen you without those," Sanaya teased, biting her lip.
Daksh's head sharply turned at her, he glared. Sanaya rolled her eyes and sat beside him, "It's okay," she said rubbing his arms. Daksh pouted then swept his wife to sit on his knees, and buried his head in her shoulders.
