"Yashwant ji, what shall be the wedding date, because we are ready for any day?" Abhijeet was sitting with everyone around, for finalizing the marriage procedures.
"So are we, specially Shweta." Yashwant replied nudging Shweta slightly, she faked a smile. She was actually relieved that Daksh's parents were really nice and she wouldn't have problem.
Sarika was busy for the week in preparations of the upcoming fashion show, she was at her office so only Abhijeet, Daksh and Avantika were there.
"As per my office meetings, the next month will be fine." Daksh proposed, and Shweta gasped. Of course she knew he was desperate for this marriage, but couldn't he give her some time!
"Next month, brother? You will have to ask mum for that." Avantika asked, "Avni, I'll manage her." Daksh replied smiling.
"Avni, you didn't tell me if you liked your sister-in-law" Kavya said jokingly.
"She's not my sister-in-law yet. But I think I will like her soon." she taunted, Abhijeet coughed.
Avantik was a fearless, confident girl, she was in 10th grade and it was evident that she speaks for her mind.
"Excuse me but I can't agree to the next month without my sister's opinion." Shweta said eying Daksh, even though she knew her mother could slap her later.
Abhijeet was clueless about the situation but before he could ask, Daksh beat him, "You can ask her tomorrow, I'll take you there." he offered smirking.
Shweta was very mad at his audacity. He doesn't seem to leave her alone!
"Great, you could spend time together that way. Let us know what you have decided." Abhijeet announced happily.
*The next morning*
"Hello gorgeous." Daksh smirked as he picked her up in his fancy lamborghini, opening the door for Shweta. She was not in the mood to talk to him, "Be quick." she said sitting in his car.
The car ride was quiet, much to Shweta's surprise. She expected him to blow up with cheesy pick up lines or pickon her, not that she was cmplaining.
Dkash however had planned to make his move as the hospital was few kilometers far from her home, but he couldn't speak anything. All he could think of was the his how his life had taken a turn suddenly.
He remembered when his mother would call him to arrange meetings with girls every morning, and now he was in his car with his future wife. He glanced at her, she was looking out of the window, just then his mind got caught up by that day in the hospital, he frowned. He needed to get some information, for his mum as he promised her, but he personally wanted to know what had happened all these years.
"What exactly happened to your sister?" he asked, clearing his throat.
Shweta was surprised, she thought he was dying to talk to her, but he had been thinking of her sister.
She took a deep breath whether or not to tell him, "She wouldn't want anyone to know" she tried to cover up, Daksh nodded in understanding.
"How has been your life?" Daksh asked. "Good. Have you found someone for Sanaya to marry?" she asked eagerly.
"I have actually," he informed to which Shweta smiled brightly, but soon frowned. "Is he good? Like, is he a gentleman? I want him to ta-"
"-He is fine, he's my assistant." he said clenching his teeth tighlty, showing his sharp jawline. "And he is a gentleman, I have talked to him about everything, he has agreed."
"Oh... Thank you." she said but he didn't reply. Normally Shweta would get angry, but she didn't want to make a fuss and get on his bad side until Sanaya is married.
