Thinking about how I would start my life again, the only solution I could reach was to start designing. The future is unknown and I'm too young already, so I'd rather try everything I can right now.
I was researching and I knew what things I needed. Some fabrics, strong threads, needles, scissors, mannequins, a room, a sewing machine, some lessons, and perhaps a model. Well my male model could be Daksh and my female model could be Avantika, they're both tall and beautiful.
On our floor, I managed to decide the room which I'm going to raid with my belongings and stuff. With some help from all the workers in the house, I managed to get the things that I needed in less than 2 hours.
'Being rich has its pros.' I thought to myself.
"Bhabhi?" Avni came asking for me all around. "Woah, what is happening?" She asked looking around the room.
I chuckled nervously feeling like she'd judge me or perhaps get upset over me for using a spare room.
"Oh, I just—"
"It's amazing! Are you joining mama's company?" She asked smiling.
I blinked for a second wondering if she likes it or if she was buttering me up. Though smiling, "Y-Yes, I was thinking to make something out of me."
She grinned widely, shoving me a little teasingly, "Ooh, I would have a designer sister-in-law, and then I'd wear her clothes and everyone would love me."
I blushed in embarrassment laughing awkwardly, "Wh–What are you talking about?"
"Ah, I forgot! Bhaiya has been calling you, but you didn't pick up." She said, making me wonder where in heaven I left my phone. "Call him, he says it's important. I'd go back to my room."
She skipped back while I asked the workers if they had seen my phone, and they told me it was in the kitchen.
Rushing back I called Daksh, what could be this important thing?
"Hello?" I said as soon as he picked up. "Hello? Why didn't you pick it up? I was calling for like 20 minutes!" He whispered.
I bit my lip, "Sorry sorry, I was busy. What is it?" I asked.
"Busy with what?" he asked. I paused, "I'd tell you later." I said.
"Okay..?" he said unsure, "Anyways, we had a doctor's appointment remember? I'm coming over in 10 minutes get ready." He reminded me.
"Ah, shit. Okay, I'll call you." I hung up rushing over to my room to pick some elegant clothes. A suit would be uncomfortable for a check-up, and I might need to take an x-ray so I settled with a brand new floral saree that my dear mother-in-law had bought me.
