Brer Rabbit, Burt and Patty went back to town to find Marlyn setting up more chairs.
"Okay, lumber-jerk! You is in big trubble! Brer Burt, Sis Patty, I says we stick a rat in her dress so she can know who de big cheez is!" Brer Rabbit babbled.
"What is you talking about, Rabbit?" said Marlyn.
"We know you've been using Chad for free labor!" said Burt.
"Admit it or else!" said Patty.
"Free labor? No, I really like Chad" said Marlyn.
"Then why do you have him building chairs on every date?" said Burt.
"Because... my daddy is really sick and Adirondack chairs are his favorite. He just wants to spend his last days reclining in comfort" Marlyn croaked.
"Holy moral dilemma, Marlyn" said Burt.
"We're so sorry" said Patty.
"Can you evah fo'give us?" said Brer Rabbit.
"Of course I can. It's the carpenter's code to forgive" said Marlyn.
Then she picked up her ringing phone just as the three were leaving.
"Yeah, I'll take five grand for the chairs" she said.
Patty, Burt and Brer Rabbit listened in.
"No, you's lucky to be gettin' Marlyn Mason originals. And I'm gettin' me a car!" said Marlyn through the phone.
"But first, she's gettin' all de breff knocked outta her body!" said Brer Rabbit furiously.
He tried to run after Marlyn, but Burt and Patty stopped him.
Meanwhile, Brer Bear was hoisting Jeremy up to the top of Chick-a-Pin Hill.
"Are you sure I'm not too heavy?" said Jeremy.
"Yup. In fact, you's lighter den Brer Fox" said Brer Bear.
Jeremy held the amulet up to the sun. "It's working!"
But the light only showed the word 'suckers' on the ground.
"Trezhur and suckers? Wow!" said Brer Bear.
Brer Fox ran over cackling his tail off.
"You show done made fools out yo'selves!" he laughed.
"What is it, Brer Fox?" said Jeremy.
"Diss wuz de traditional Splash Mountain fake scavenger hunt. Dare's no trezhuh! You just got pranked!" said Brer Fox.
Brer Bear yelled "What?!" then dropped Jeremy off his shoulders.
"Oh... dear! Now my feelings and my hips are hurt" Jeremy groaned.
