As Ryuk was adjusting to his new abilities, one of the Liberators, code-named Dove, was on a dangerous mission. His task was to infiltrate Kira's base, gather intel, and escape undetected. But the mission didn't go as planned.

Dove managed to sneak into the base and gather some information, but as he was trying to escape, he was caught by Light himself. Light, armed with a Tommy gun, cornered Dove in one of the corridors.

"Dove," Light greeted, a chilling smile on his face. "What a pleasant surprise."

Dove, trapped and outnumbered, knew he was in a dire situation. But he was not ready to give up. He quickly scribbled a note, tore a page from the God Note he had managed to steal, and attached it to his pet dove. With a swift move, he released the bird, letting it fly away.

Light, realizing Dove's intention, opened fire. The corridor echoed with the deafening sound of the Tommy gun, as Dove fell under the barrage. But he died with a satisfied smile on his face, knowing he had completed his mission.

Light watched as Dove's lifeless body hit the ground. He laughed, an evil sound echoing in the now silent corridor. "Foolish move, Dove. But it's too late. You've lost."

Back at L's base, the dove arrived, carrying the torn page of the God Note. L, reading the note, felt a pang of loss. Dove had given his life for their cause. But his sacrifice had not been in vain. They had a piece of the God Note, and with it, a chance to fight back.

The game had taken a tragic turn, but it was far from over. The world was watching, waiting for the next move. And L was ready to make it.

Holding the torn piece of the God Note, L was in deep thought. He had a powerful tool, one that could turn the tide in their favor. But he also knew that every use had a price. Still, he was ready to pay that price. He needed allies, trusted companions to stand with him in this fight.

After some consideration, L wrote three names on the piece of the God Note: Bear, Mello, and Watari.

As he finished writing, a surge of energy pulsed from the God Note. Moments later, the room was filled with a brilliant light. When it faded, three figures stood in the room.

Bear, the formidable field agent, stood tall and strong, looking around in confusion. Mello, the impulsive yet brilliant strategist, was busy examining his surroundings. And Watari, L's butler and confidant, looked at L with a mixture of surprise and relief.

"L... is that you?" Watari asked, his voice filled with disbelief.

"Yes, Watari," L replied, a small smile on his face. "And we have much to discuss."

The room was filled with a mix of emotions - surprise, confusion, relief. But above all, there was a renewed sense of hope. With the return of his trusted allies, L was ready to take on Light. The game was far from over. The world was watching, and L was ready for the next move.

As the newly resurrected allies adjusted to their situation, Near took the opportunity to fill them in on the events of the past. The group gathered around, listening attentively as Near recounted the events at the warehouse.

"We had a plan," Near began, his voice steady. "We had cornered Kira, ready to expose him to the world. But he was one step ahead. He had a gun..."

Near recounted the incident in detail, describing how Light managed to turn the tables at the last moment, how he shot Near and escaped. The room was filled with a tense silence as Near described Light's triumph and his own defeat.

L listened attentively, his face a mask of calm. But inside, he was burning with determination. Light had been his adversary for a long time, and he knew him well. He was cunning, ruthless, and always one step ahead. But L was not one to back down.

"And then," Near continued, "I woke up here. In L's base, brought back to life."

Chapter 30: Watari's Recollection

After Near's revelation, Watari stepped forward, his expression somber. "There's more you should know, L," he began.

"I... I remember the day I died."

The room fell silent as Watari began to recount his final moments. "It was during the investigation. We were close to capturing Kira. I was in the surveillance room, monitoring the activities when suddenly... I collapsed."

Watari paused, his expression darkening. "The last thing I remember was a searing pain in my chest. Then, everything went black."

The room was quiet as Watari's words sank in. L's expression remained impassive, but his eyes were filled with a steely determination. He knew what had happened. Kira, or Light, had used the Death Note to kill Watari.

"But now," Watari continued, his voice firm, "I'm back. And I'm ready to do whatever it takes to stop Kira."

L nodded, his resolve only strengthened by Watari's words. They had all suffered at the hands of Kira. They had lost, died, and been brought back. But they were not deterred. They were ready to fight, ready to take down Kira.

The world was watching, waiting for their next move. And L was ready to make it. With his trusted allies by his side, he was ready to face Light once again. The game was far from over ,The room was filled with a renewed sense of determination. They had lost once, but they wouldn't let it happen again. Light had made his move, and now it was their turn. The world was watching, waiting for the next move. And L and his allies were ready to make it.
