Seated in his expansive office, Light Yagami had his eyes fixed on the enormous screen before him. A live feed from the camera attached to Teru Mikami and Mello displayed a crucial meeting with top government officials. Light had chosen to remain hidden, orchestrating the proceedings from the shadows.

"Good afternoon, gentlemen," Teru began, his voice composed and authoritative. He was standing tall, adorned in a sharp suit, his hair slicked back.

Mello, on the other hand, was a stark contrast. Wearing his signature leather attire, he casually slouched in the chair next to Teru. His fingers were dancing over a bar of chocolate while his eyes scanned the room, analyzing each individual.

"I assume you know why we're here," Teru continued. "Our organization, Kira Corp, has been working towards the betterment of this society. We've made significant strides, and we're now seeking your full support to expedite the process."

Murmurs filled the room as the officials glanced at each other. Light watched each of their faces, gauging their reactions. Teru had articulated their objective precisely as they had rehearsed.

One of the officials, a stern-looking man with glasses, spoke up. "We're aware of Kira Corp's contributions, Mr. Mikami. But aligning with your organization... it's a decision that needs careful consideration."

Mello smirked, breaking a piece of his chocolate bar. "Careful consideration?" he echoed, his tone mocking. "Funny how that never seems to be a requirement when it comes to corruption and power games."

The room fell silent, the tension palpable. Light couldn't help but smirk at Mello's audaciousness.

"Enough of this," Light commanded into the microphone, his voice reaching Teru and Mello through their concealed earpieces. "Let's cut to the chase."

Heeding Light's command, Teru straightened, his gaze steady on the officials. "We have the means and resources to make a significant difference in this world. We're offering you an opportunity to be part of that. So, gentlemen, are you with us or against us?"

The question hung in the air, the silence in the room echoing Light's dominance. He leaned back in his chair, a satisfied smile playing on his lips. Regardless of their answer, he was always several steps ahead. He was Kira, after all. And Kira was God.

Teru let the question linger for a moment, allowing the weight of his words to sink in among the officials. Then, he reached into his pocket, producing a small, sealed plastic bag. It contained a single, neatly torn piece of paper.

"This," he said, holding it up for everyone to see, "is a piece of the God Note. A relic of immense power."

A collective gasp echoed around the room. Eyes widened and heads leaned forward, as if trying to confirm the authenticity of the item in Teru's hand. Light watched their reactions with a sense of amusement. He knew, of course, that the paper was nothing more than an ordinary piece of notebook paper, carefully aged to match the appearance of the God Note.

"If you choose to align with us," Teru continued, "each of you will receive a piece of this Note. Imagine the possibilities. The power to do good, to bring justice, right in your hands."

Murmurs broke out among the officials. Some looked skeptical, others intrigued, but all of them were undeniably captivated.

"We're not demanding blind allegiance," Mello chimed in, smirking as he bit into another piece of chocolate. "Just think of it as... motivation. An incentive for you to consider our proposal seriously."

"However," Teru added, his voice gaining a more serious tone, "if you decide to go against us, to oppose Kira Corp... well, I'm sure you're all familiar with the concept of divine retribution."
