At the Café

Author's POV:

Jennie, J-Hope, Felix, Suga, and Jimin were all sitting at their respective seats, sipping on their coffee. Jennie cleared her throat to get their attention.

"So, we’re here for YN and Taehyung," she announced, leaving everyone confused.

"For YN and Taehyung? What happened to them?" Felix questioned, and the others nodded in agreement.

"As you all know, there’s something fishy going on between them," Jennie explained.

They all agreed with Jennie’s statement.

"Yeah, you're right, but why are we here?" Suga asked, taking another sip of his coffee.

"Before I discuss my plan, do you guys know what happened between them?" Jennie asked. Felix and Suga shook their heads, but J-Hope and Jimin exchanged glances, signaling each other with their eyes.

Suga noticed this and raised an eyebrow. "What happened, Jimin hyung and Hobi hyung?"

They both laughed awkwardly and replied, "No, no, nothing happened."

"Are you sure?" Suga asked suspiciously.

"Yep," they said in unison.

Jennie gave them a weird look but decided to ignore it. She continued, "You guys know what I think? I think YN likes Taehyung oppa."

Felix choked on his coffee, Suga nodded in agreement, but J-Hope remained unfazed, and Jimin chuckled.

"No, no, if she liked him, why would she reje—" Before Jimin could finish, J-Hope kicked him under the table. Jimin realized what he was about to reveal but it was too late. Their eyes widened.

They all pounced on him with questions.

"Who rejected who? What rejection?"

"Taehyung got rejected?"

"What are you saying?"

"Does Taehyung like YN?"

"When did all this happen?"

"What is even happening here?"

"SHUT UP, ALL OF YOU!" J-Hope finally snapped, yelling in frustration.

"I’ll tell you everything," he said, but Jimin grabbed his hand and shook his head, signaling him not to.

"It’s too late, you almost spilled everything," Jimin said while glaring at him.

J-Hope nodded, feeling guilty.

"Now tell us," Jennie said impatiently, her eyes wide with curiosity.

"Actually, I don’t know all the details, but Taehyung confessed, and YN rejected him," J-Hope said, stuttering slightly.

Their eyes widened in shock. Felix choked again, spilling his drink on the table. Suga’s eyes went wide, his typical cat-like expression in full effect, but he didn’t say much. Jennie, on the other hand, was speechless, numb, unable to find any words.

Jimin just nodded, confirming J-Hope’s statement.

"Wh-what? Wh-when did this all happen?" Jennie stammered, still in disbelief.

Jimin sighed deeply before explaining, "Remember the day they started ignoring each other? It was right after that. A few months ago, we all met at Felix’s place, and after that, they started acting weird."

Everyone paused, recalling that day. Felix remembered YN ignoring her phone calls that day, and Jennie also started to recall the strange behavior.

Suga suddenly spoke up. "Oh, I remember when Taehyung handed her phone back without saying a word."
