Investigation Part 3

Uros(Shoreline of Lake Amon)

Rynn flew across the sky as he carried princess Elyria to their next destination to conduct the investigation of the lake of Amon as according to reports those who drink the water suddenly have a overdose in mana causing their body to break apart.

"I can already see the people affected by it.Their body seems to be breaking down."Rynn said

"We need to hurry to give treatment to those overloaded with mana in their bodies."Elyria replied

"So is there anyway to treat mana overload?"Rynn asked

"Yes it is called titanite crystal that can only be found in a volcanic dungeon.Which is very hard to clear only those with great magical power can clear it but the loot is very good.I think the shoreline of the lake is a good place to land."Elyria said

"Got it."Rynn said as he descended down towards the shoreline.

Once Rynn touched down on the lake princess Elyria hopped out of his arms and began to ask the locals when they started to review symptoms of mana overload.

"Excuse me kind sir did you all know when did your all started to experience mana overload?"Elyria asked

"It all started when the demon invasion began.Wait you are the princess which means the military will be here soon!Tell me when will the military arrive to help us."The village elder said

"Uhmm..... sorry the military is not coming as it is currently overstretched thus that is why I have arrived to help you all solve the problem.I got someone to help me his name is Rynn."Elyria said

"Rynn who is this person?"The village elder asked

"The one dressed in black uniform with a black cape while holding a spear."Elyria said

"You mean that no magic peasant?That person is going to help us? Princess I hope that you have not hit your head too hard.So far I can only see that this Rynn person can only fly I don't detect any ounce of magic in him.He is even lower than a peasant at least a peasant have some trace of magic.This Rynn person must be some kind of disabled person."The village elder commented.

"Sir if you know what Rynn can do you will be singing a different tune."Elyria said

While Elyria and the village elder is chatting Rynn is scanning the lake for any anomalies.

Rynn with his enhanced vision can see the lake but some portions of it remains blurry and the blurry portion seems to move not stay in one spot.His grip on his spear tighten.

"Must be some kind of magical being in the lake waters I hope that I am not wrong got to test my theory."Rynn thought to himself as he raised his spear up and swung it down like a bolt of thunder hitting the lake shoreline which transmitted a huge shockwave to the lake itself.

"We have tried to find what is wrong with the lake but we don't find anything abnormal about it our detection magic did not detect anything in the lake causing more people to drink the water from the lake only to have their mana overload.This has reached such an extent that we are running out of our titanite crystal reserve to absorb the excess mana from the sick.The nearest titanite crystal deposit is in a volcanic dungeon and those dungeons are hard to clear.We need the military here now I know that the military is stretch thin but we can't hold on any longer."The village elder begged.

"Boom!"

"What the hell was that!"The village elder exclaimed as he looked at Rynn direction

"Oh my god what have done! Are you trying to destroy the lake!"The village elder continued to shout.
